Featuring a restaurant and a bar, Hotel Cajú is located in Funchal, a 11-minute walk from Almirante Reis Beach and 600 yards from Marina do Funchal. I really couldn't fault this hotel. The staff were lovely, the location was great and the beds were super comfy. The shower was hot and powerful. We didn't use the little gym downstairs but we were able to refill our water bottle from inside. Breakfast was very nice - loved the Caju bowl in particular. The only small criticism was our toilet door didn't stay shut - it used to swing open

Offering an outdoor pool and spa center, Castanheiro Boutique Hotel is set in Funchal, 1640 feet from Marina do Funchal. Absolutely gorgeous place. Pictures don’t do justice to it. Beautiful rooms, amazing spa & indoor pool and a gorgeous roof top! The view from the bar/pool is breathtaking (especially at night). The breakfast buffet was perfect - variety of delicious options. Location couldn’t be better! One of my best stays in Funchal!

Featuring views of Funchal Bay, The Views Baia - Adults Only Hotel offers modern accommodations. Facilities include the Four Feelings Spa, 2 swimming pools, and a well-equipped gym. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The breakfast buffet offered a great range of cold and hot options, merging local food with more "international" options. The views from the hotel were amazing, seeing Madeira and the sea through most of the common areas.

Located in Funchal, 1.6 miles from Almirante Reis Beach, Quinta Funchal Gardens - Adults Only provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Our room was really clean with a nice comfy bed where we slept great. The breakfast was simple but good, with fresh local food. The staff was friendly and helped us whenever we needed anything. Can 100% recommend, it will be our go-to stay in Funchal

Set in a historic building of central Funchal, Monte Carlo features a large elevated terrace and roof-top pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is located only 2625 feet from the Funchal Marina. An amazing find. What a stunning hotel. The staff are exceptionally kind. I loved everything about it, even the walk up to it, as the views are spectacular.

Orquidea opens out on to an extra-large rooftop terrace, overlooking Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean. This is a great-value hotel, simple and a little old and worn (call is "classic"!), but comfortable; the location is perfect; the staff was very friendly and helpful (Ronnie was the best!); it was very cheap, the breakfast was decent with a beautiful view. Overall, we got more than we expected and more than we paid for. Thank you!
