Featuring a restaurant and a bar, Hotel Cajú is located in Funchal, a 11-minute walk from Almirante Reis Beach and 600 yards from Marina do Funchal. I really couldn't fault this hotel. The staff were lovely, the location was great and the beds were super comfy. The shower was hot and powerful. We didn't use the little gym downstairs but we were able to refill our water bottle from inside. Breakfast was very nice - loved the Caju bowl in particular. The only small criticism was our toilet door didn't stay shut - it used to swing open

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We look forward to staying again.
