Featuring a restaurant and a bar, Hotel Cajú is set in Funchal, less than 1 km from Almirante Reis Beach and a 6-minute walk from Marina do Funchal. Everything was perfect! The location was great, the room had everything including a fridge (which was a surprise) and a balcony big enough to take in the surroundings. The balcony was another nice surprise, I did not expect it, but I appreciated a lot! Breakfast was very good and healthy, good coffee and natural fruit juices. Staff is nice and supportive (thank you once again for expecting me in front of the hotel with my passport when I had to return from the airport). Thank you for a nice vacation!

A Castanheiro Boutique Hotel szabadtéri medencét és wellnessrészleget kínál Funchal városában, 500 méterre Funchal kikötőjétől. We loved everything about this hotel! From the arrival where we were greeted with champagne to the wonderful food and bars offered within the hotel to the OUTSTANDING spa staff, we could not have had a better trip. We visited during a 3 day storm so we had plenty of time to use all of the hotel amenities and could not recommend them more. The rooms were spacious, had balconies (for those rare, clear moments) and had modern, clean bathrooms with luxurious showers. While I did not eat at the restaurant for dinner, 6 of our other friends did and absolutely raved about the food. The quality and value, coupled with excellent staff made for an amazing trip. Only a 5-minute walk from so many things to do in Old town and a 10-minute cab ride to the more commercialized, shopping area of town. We would only stay at the Castanheiro hotel again if we return.

I have to say that we had the best hotel experience so far. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing and recharging. We were amazed by the beautiful gardens and pleasantly surprised to find a permanent hotel guest, Colombo – a tortoise living in the gardens. We miss this charming old fellow; he left a lasting impression on us 🥰 The staff took excellent care of us and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions, making us feel very special throughout our stay. The room was spotless and comfortable, and we loved the heated pool area. The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast with its many delicious options. It’s hard to get back to normal life after that. A big shout out to all the hardworking staff! 🙌

A Orquidea extra nagy tetőtéri teraszáról Funchalra és az Atlanti-óceánra nyílik kilátás. This is a great-value hotel, simple and a little old and worn (call is "classic"!), but comfortable; the location is perfect; the staff was very friendly and helpful (Ronnie was the best!); it was very cheap, the breakfast was decent with a beautiful view. Overall, we got more than we expected and more than we paid for. Thank you!

Az 5 csillagos Quintinha São João egy zöldellő, parkosított kertben fekszik. A szálloda wellnessrészleggel, valamint fedett- és szabadtéri fűtött medencékkel várja a vendégeket. One of our best hotel experience so far. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel has a gorgeous park and a very calming athmosphere. Breakfast was extreamly good, lot of local food and fruits. We just loved it.

Located in Funchal, 2.6 km from Almirante Reis Beach, Quinta Funchal Palace Gardens - Adults Only provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a terrace. Of of the many places I have stayed, this takes the top price. Beautifull garden surrounding the Quinta, staff providing a personal, but yes proffesional service. "No" seems to be a unknown word. The kitchen serves excellent delicate dishes with a twist. I am really thrilled, that this kind of oasis still excist. I can´t wait to come back

A Hotel GORDON szállása Funchal Sao Pedro kerületében található, és kerttel és ingyenes wifivel várja vendégeit. A hotel a központhoz közel egy csendes utcában van. A szobámból csodás kilátás nyílt, a tengert is láttam. Néhány délután a szomszédos angol templom kertjében koncert volt amit nagyon élveztem. Egy remek, nyugalmas és kellemes bázis volt a 112-es szoba számomra.
