Castanheiro Boutique Hotel terletak di Funchal, dalam jarak 500 meter dari Marina do Funchal. Ia menawarkan kolam renang luaran dan pusat spa. Everything! Staff were great and location was 30 seconds to the old town with a ton of restaurant options. All the staff from the front desk to Carlos and Jose in the bar were extremely friendly and great at their jobs! Would definitely stay here again.

Located in the hills surrounding Funchal, this 18th-century mansion is set in extensive botanical gardens with 600 different plant species. All rooms have balconies overlooking the gardens. To say that the quality of the service provided by the staff could not be faulted would be to do an injustice to the excellent service and friendliness of all the staff, from the reception, to the bar, to the dining and the housekeeping staff. They couldn’t have been more professional helpful or nicer.

Orquidea opens out on to an extra-large roof-top terrace, overlooking Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean. This is a great-value hotel, simple and a little old and worn (call is "classic"!), but comfortable; the location is perfect; the staff was very friendly and helpful (Ronnie was the best!); it was very cheap, the breakfast was decent with a beautiful view. Overall, we got more than we expected and more than we paid for. Thank you!

Set in lush, landscaped gardens, 5-star Quintinha São João features a spa and indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools. Overlooking central Funchal and the bay, it is 2 km from Funchal Cathedral. We loved this hotel! The best part of the hotel was definitely the staff. We have never been to a place with such kind and hospitable staff!! The breakfast was tasty. It was great that you could choose any hour of the day to be the happy hour when the cocktails are half off. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Of of the many places I have stayed, this takes the top price. Beautifull garden surrounding the Quinta, staff providing a personal, but yes proffesional service. "No" seems to be a unknown word. The kitchen serves excellent delicate dishes with a twist. I am really thrilled, that this kind of oasis still excist. I can´t wait to come back

Terletak di dalam sebuah bangunan bersejarah di pusat Funchal, Monte Carlo mempunyai teres besar yang ditinggikan dan sebuah kolam renang atas bumbung yang menghadap Lautan Atlantik. Very friendly and welcoming stuff, they also kept my luggage until my flight back home, after I checked out. Building is beautiful, historical with a retro charm. Room was clean and spacious, with comfotable bed. I loved the traditional details in room decor and the hotel overall. Bathroom could be more modern but it’s usable. Hotel has great locations, walking distance from the city centre if you dont’t mind some uphill walking on your way back.

Great location easy to get in and out of with parking on site. Quiet street to be able to rest after long days of hiking. Nice terrace to relax with a book.
