Absolutely everything about this hotel was great! Once you get there you don`t want to leave. The building itself, room, garden, pool - beautiful! Every staff member was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you to the whole team for our wonderful experience.

Amazing staff and unreal hotel We stayed in this lovely hotel as part of our honeymoon. Honestly, probably one of our favourite hotels we've had the pleasure to stay in. From the moment we arrived staff were so lovely and friendly. We were quickly checked into our gorgeous room. We had received a room upgrade and a bottle of champagne. The room was incredible. Very spacious and large. Clean. Amazing bath and shower. Balcony was just amazing with unbelievable views of Funchal. Large and comfortable bed. The facilities such as the gym, pool area and spa area were a 10/10. The spa area in particular was my favourite with the sauna, Turkish baths, 4 season showers, jacuzzi, indoor pool and more. Breakfast had everything you could possibly imagine and delicious. The views were so beautiful also at breakfast. We had the privilege of attending the Michelin star restaurant on the rooftop. Lydia from reception kindly helped us get a booking for us as I know it was fully booked weeks in advance. She was so lovely and kind and also gave us recommendations for activities in Funchal which was most appreciated. Location was also just a 10min walk into the old town and ideal if you wanted a stroll for dinner. The dinner and woogie boogie bar had entertainment every night. It was honestly perfect. We wish to thank all the lovely and kind staff who made our honeymoon the best.

Monte Carlo ligger i en historisk bygning i centrum af Funchal. Det har en stor, forhøjet terrasse samt pool på tagterrassen med udsigt til Atlanterhavet. Hotellet ligger blot 800 m fra Funchal... The best of the hotel is the staff, really nice, always smiling and always ready to help! The room is big and clean, with everything you need. Mine had also a little terrace and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is super close to the city center and the bus to go to the airport and the view from there is amazing on the city, during the day and the night.

This hotel has a very nice rooftop terrace. It is the best thing it has to offer. The rooms were clean and breakfast was ok. Very good value for money and good location.
