Offering an outdoor pool and spa centre, Castanheiro Boutique Hotel is set in Funchal, 500 metres from Marina do Funchal. Wonderful hotel, an amazing pool with a view, and excellent staff. Our family was very happy to be there and enjoyed it. Will be definitely back.

Located in the hills surrounding Funchal, this 18th-century mansion is set in extensive botanical gardens with 600 different plant species. All rooms have balconies overlooking the gardens. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We look forward to staying again.

Orquidea opens out on to an extra-large roof-top terrace, overlooking Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean. This is a great-value hotel, simple and a little old and worn (call is "classic"!), but comfortable; the location is perfect; the staff was very friendly and helpful (Ronnie was the best!); it was very cheap, the breakfast was decent with a beautiful view. Overall, we got more than we expected and more than we paid for. Thank you!

This hotel is very conveniently situated about a 10 min walk to center. Everything was perfect. Huge room impeccably clean. The pool area was quiet and faced the city with beautiful views to the sea. Plenty of sun beds. Breakfast was a huge choice of food. As adults only very peaceful and quiet. I would rate as a five star hotel rather than 4.

Set in lush, landscaped gardens, 5-star Quintinha São João features a spa and indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools. Overlooking central Funchal and the bay, it is 2 km from Funchal Cathedral. We loved this hotel! The best part of the hotel was definitely the staff. We have never been to a place with such kind and hospitable staff!! The breakfast was tasty. It was great that you could choose any hour of the day to be the happy hour when the cocktails are half off. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Objekat Quinta Funchal Gardens - Adults Only, koji se nalazi u Funšalu, na 2,6 km od znamenitosti Plaža Almirante Reis, nudi smeštaj sa bazenom na otvorenom, privatnim parkingom, vrtom i zajedničkim... Of of the many places I have stayed, this takes the top price. Beautifull garden surrounding the Quinta, staff providing a personal, but yes proffesional service. "No" seems to be a unknown word. The kitchen serves excellent delicate dishes with a twist. I am really thrilled, that this kind of oasis still excist. I can´t wait to come back

Set in a historic building of central Funchal, Monte Carlo features a large elevated terrace and roof-top pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is located only 800 metres from the Funchal Marina. Very friendly and welcoming stuff, they also kept my luggage until my flight back home, after I checked out. Building is beautiful, historical with a retro charm. Room was clean and spacious, with comfotable bed. I loved the traditional details in room decor and the hotel overall. Bathroom could be more modern but it’s usable. Hotel has great locations, walking distance from the city centre if you dont’t mind some uphill walking on your way back.

Objekat Hotel GORDON je smešten na sjajnoj lokaciji u Funšalu, i to u četvrti Sao Pedro, na 15 min. hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Almirante Reis, 3 km od znamenitosti Plaža Gorgulho – Gavinas i 8 min. Extremely clean facilities. Super secure and lovely staff. The breakfast in their garden was great. Full of flowers and cozy.
