Casa Velha do Palheiro Relais & Chateaux is a 5-star manor house hotel situated in the old Palheiro Gardens in the foothills of Funchal. We loved having breakfast served to us outside the main house. So grand!

Situated in Funchal, within 2 km of Almirante Reis Beach and 4 km of Marina do Funchal, Quinta São Gonçalo features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The breakfast was generous and delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh bread. And the morning and evening views! 👌 You could also take whatever fruit was ripe in the garden, like mango and pitango. We really enjoyed drinks on the patio in the evening. (BYO)

SHELL LIVING - Infinity Loft is recently renovated and includes a living room with a flat-screen TV. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We liked everything about the property. It’s located on the main road and has its own parking spot. There’s a bus stop just down the road and it takes about 15min to downtown. It’s stylish but also very comfortable. The view is spectacular, you can see the ocean from the bed, and the whole city of Funchal from the sauna and the balcony.

We immediately fell in love with the view, it's breathtaking. The apartment is nice, spacious and the terrace offers lots of space to relax. Localization is perfect - close to the city center, but you can also easily reach the main road to other cities.

Our stay was absolutely incredible thanks to this incredible apartment. Coming back after a day of exploring to that stunning view was just magical.The apartment was not only clean and spacious, but also had a well-equipped kitchen where we could easily whip up some delicious meals while enjoying the priceless view, that you won’t get in the centre. Just a 5-minute drive away, there's a shopping centre with the freshest fish you can get. And if you want to head to the centre, there's a bus stop just 5 minutes from the apartment that will get you there in 15 minutes for only €3.50 for two people – a steal compared to a €20 taxi ride. The taxi one way from the town is around €10.The host was so friendly and welcoming, greeting us with a beautiful basket of goodies, including wine. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Funchal. The views are absolutely breathtaking, whether you're starting your day with a coffee or winding down with a glass of wine in the evening. And to top it off, our neighbor even surprised us with a delicious homemade cake! We can't wait to come back to this amazing apartment.

Located in Funchal, 5.2 km from Marina do Funchal and 16 km from Girao Cape, Funchal Boa Nova Apartment offers barbecue facilities and air conditioning. The apartment was very spacious and clean and located close to Funchal. The host (Eduardo) was very nice and accomodating! Highly recommend this apartment to anybody visiting the area.

Beautiful and spacious villa with a lovely pool. Nicely decorated with large outdoor terrace overlooking the water and Funchal in the distance. All basics were provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.
