Quinta São Gonçalo er staðsett í Funchal, í innan við 2 km fjarlægð frá Almirante Reis-ströndinni og 4 km frá Marina do Funchal. A beautiful Quinta set high above Funchal, with incredible views over Funchal. Especially for New Years Eve fireworks! Part of the downstairs is a dining area where breakfast is served, or on the terrace outside the dining room - which most of us did. You can use the large kitchen of the Quinta to make drinks throughout the day and evening and store items in the fridge but the cooker is not to be used. The other huge downstairs room seems to be an office environment for a company that has about 5 staff on site office hours. All the accommodation is upstairs. The room we had was at the front of the Quinta, large and spacious. Very comfortable and clean with incredible views of Funchal. Other rooms have a view of the plantation behind but also seemed very spacious when I looked in.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well-equipped apartment. Our group consisted of two families with two babies (1 and 1.5 years old), and Ruben was incredibly thoughtful in providing two baby chairs and two cribs to make our stay more comfortable. He was always very communicative and attentive, promptly responding to all our needs. Ruben even offered a complimentary extra cleaning service during our two-week stay, which was a lovely touch. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the two balconies with their lovely views. The private parking was also a big plus for us, and the apartment has a spacious parking area. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience.

A beautiful acommadation with a wonderful view. Luxury feel to the appartment. Private parking was a big plus. Close to city, but not walking distance. 10/10

We immediately fell in love with the view, it's breathtaking. The apartment is nice, spacious and the terrace offers lots of space to relax. Localization is perfect - close to the city center, but you can also easily reach the main road to other cities.

The apartment is perfectly located above the main road and is thus an excellent base for exploring the island in all directions. The stunning view over Funchal and the sea are simply breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting ouside every day. The apartment itself is very clean and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. The communication with the hosts is easy, a booklet that you get online in advance explains everything you need to know. There was even a welcome basket with delicious goodies waiting for us upon our arrival. A car is definitely recommended! We had a perfect week in this apartment :)

The house was very clean and ready to use, there were sufficient consumption materials available too. Size of the rooms were also very good.
