Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, a garden and terrace in Funchal. Personal touch from the hotel host Miguel, provided itineraries and suggestions on where to go, what to do (factoring weather) and where to eat. The rooftop bar was quite cool. Good location. Apartment was very large and had SMEG equipment, very nice touch.

Located on the Funchal seafront, this hotel offers panoramic views over the Atlantic. It provides rooms with kitchenettes and balconies, 2 pools and a spa center with spa bath and sauna. What a classy hotel! Every staff member was so polite, efficient, smartly dressed and clearly enjoyed their jobs. Situated on the water front, next door to the old town, which is chock full with bars, restaurants & the famous painted doors and muraled walls. It's also on level ground, unlike most of Funchal. Our bedroom overlooked the park and was very spacious and comfortable. Beds were particularly comfy. We also had a kitchenette, but didnt use it, preferring to eat out and breakfast was included. Food at the hotel was varied, good quality and well priced. Shout out for the Captain's Bar Happy Hour at 17.00 each day, as that was fabulous. A good selection of drinks included and such good value. The roof terrace with loungers & a large jacuzzi is a great place to relax with a stunning view of Funchal... as was the pool area where lunch & drinks can be enjoyed. There are some nice bars right opposite the hotel too. We particularly enjoyed Bar No 2. In conclusion, this hotel is simply superb, is extremely good value as the many repeat customers would so say too. Highly recommended. Hope to return soonest.

Just a 8-minute walk from Almirante Reis Beach and 1.1 miles from Marina do Funchal, Alexia Room features accommodations in Funchal with a terrace. Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

Just 1.2 miles from Madeira Botanical Garden and a 15-minute walk from Cathedral of Funchal, Apartments Madeira Barreirinha features accommodations in Funchal, with a terrace. The location is superb on the edge of Funchal overlooking the ocean near excellent restaurants, the old town and a short walk to the funicular and centre. Sara, who met us at the apartment, was extremely kind and gave us really good suggestions about what to do, where to eat, etc. It was very quiet. I highly recommend this apartment.

Featuring sea views, Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden in Funchal provides accommodations, a garden, and a terrace. An outstanding apartment! We felt right at home and had easy time enjoying the property's garden, relaxing and cooking, but also working from the living room. Perched just over historical Funchal, this is an excellent base for exploring Madeira! It is 7 min drive to the town's promenade, just off the south highway which connects you to anywhere on the island in less than an hour, and a walking distance to the famed botanical gardens. The premises are spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything is new and fresh. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen which we used to cook breakfast and then enjoyed it in the garden. There are only two flats in the whole building which have a garden, and this one was better. It comes with a complimentary parking space which is in a spacious and secure yard and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again for longer when I get the opportunity to go to Madeira again.

Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V enjoys a location in Funchal, 8.9 miles from Girao Cape and 24 miles from Santana's Traditional Houses. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

Providing city views, Solar do Ribeiro in Funchal offers accommodations and a garden. With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. I love that the apartment was cleaned each day to a very high standard. They included a few items like tea, coffee and milk. The facilities were great in the kitchen and the view from the balcony was lovely.

Boa Nova base. Is located in Funchal, just 2.3 miles from Marina do Funchal and 10 miles from Girao Cape. This apartment features free private parking and free Wifi. Loved our stay, Lynne to owner was lovely and so helpful with giving us lifts to and from the airport bus stop. She had supplied some food and drink to get us started which was really nice and helpful. Property was spotless and had everything we needed for a great week in Medeira. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again
