Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. The location is excellent: just next to the farmers' market, loads of restaurants in the vicinity, and a large supermarket opposite of the hotel (which opens at 7.30 am). This hotel offers the best of both worlds: you have a self-catered apartment (with a kitchen that's fully equipped and a living that's perfect to relax in after a day of hiking and sightseeing) but with all the benefits of a hotel (immaculate service, daily housekeeping, a restaurant and a great rooftop terrace). Parking is just underneath the building with quite a steep ramp, but no issue with a medium-sized (rental) car.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. Room spacious, lots of space for clothes etc. Aircon really excellent. Wifi the fastest I have ever encountered. Big delicious breakfasts.

It provides rooms with kitchenettes and balconies, 2 pools and a spa centre with spa bath and sauna. with an excellent location, surrounded by shops and restaurants, very quiet and with a very friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Offering a terrace and city view, Alexia Room is set in Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal and 15 km from Girao Cape. The room is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need and it’s located near the old city centre. The host was amazing! She allowed us to leave the luggage at the apartment before the check-in since we arrived in Funchal very early. The communication went very smoothly! The morning after we found the breakfast box on the table with fresh fruit, croissant, bread and lots of other fresh food! Amazing!

Everything is just perfect here! Best location near old town and this view all over Funchal from the rooftop - with Infinity Pool! Everything you need is in the apartment, really new. Staff is so nice ans the contact also before our arrival was perfect. We came one day later than expected due to strong wind and still everything was perfect. They even offered us to stay one more night die free as we lost the first night. Would never expect this but it was a great surprise. Thank you for everything!!

Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Funchal, 1.9 km from Almirante Reis Beach. Very kind host. Big room with full kitchen facility. Good wifi. There is a bus stop just in front of the apartment. The host can provide airport transfer with a very good price.

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

Very nice apartment, close to the City centre. Very clean and quiet. Well recommended. In advance you will get all the information needed for codes and keys to be able to enter your apartment.

The apt is bright,clean, comfortable and quiet. Lynn is one of the best people I have ever met. Went out of her way several times to help a severely jetlagged woman who lost her luggage and left behind her coats. Thanks again.Hope we meet again.
