The hotel was recently remodeled and looks amazing. Everything was first class. The staff was helpful and the rooms were a good size and we had an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Got to wake up every morning and see the Matterhorn from our window. Went to the onsite spa and had a massage. The experience was top notch and very professional. The whole experience was amazing. The location was perfect. Close to the train station and the main street for shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay at this facility again!!

Great apartment and with how expensive Switzerland can be having access to a kitchen with modern facilities was a great help to meal prep. The apartment is very spacious with great views of the Matterhorn, we traveled during late August and waking up early for sunrise as the sun slowly lit up the Matterhorn was unreal. We managed to zoom in with our camera phones and you could see the head torches of climbers as they made their ascent. Very clean, host was very helpful in offering travel/attraction advice too.

Our apartment was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything about the place was very modern and comfortable. Our 1st level apartment had 2 balconies, with one having a view of the Matterhorn. Pascal met us at the apartment when we arrived and he was wonderful to communicate with - no issues whatsoever. The location is also great, short walk from the rail, close to a small grocery and away from the crowd of the main avenue. We all loved Haus Floralp and would highly recommend.

Outstanding view of the Matterhorn, terrific spa which was very enjoyable after a day of skiing, with a glass of wine/sparkles, breakfast was very impressive, tasty and lovely room. Brilliant customer service by the staff/ owners. We called through to reception on our arrival by train to Zermatt and they arranged an electric taxi to pick us up to bring us to 'Hotel Ambiance' as we had a heavy suitcase each and too far to walk with - cheaper than if we organised ourselves.

OMG!! This property is incredible!! We stayed at 4 different hotels over 8 nights in Switzerland this one was the best of the best. The property is gorgeous! The design and details are impeccable. Pick up from the train station, wonderful, warm staff, a beautiful room with a perfect view of Matterhorn, the sound of the stream rushing by, close walk to the hustle and bustle, but still super quiet. They have a spa on site. I wish I could have moved in!

A pleasant hotel, with a good location and a nice swimming pool and sauna. We had a view of Matterhorn from our room, and a spacious balcony to enjoy it. The bed was comfortable, and actually we liked everything about our room - the space and the furnishings, maybe the bathroom looked a bit older, but everything was functioning. The staff was really nice and welcoming. (Also multilingual, which is probably no surprise for Switzerland :)

One of our favorite stays. The staff was excellent and made our honeymoon experience excellent. We enjoyed our breakfast and afternoon coffee with views of the Matterhorn. We also enjoyed our room which was spacious, clean, and quiet. We didn't spend time at the spa but did check it out and it looked excellent. Great proximity to places in Zermatt. Hotel shuttle helped us get to and from the train station with our bags.

Hotel Perren was absolutely beautiful: our every-changing view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, the breakfast spread, the decor, the sound of the river outside as we slept. The staff was super helpful (including helping us decide to paraglide - unforgettable!), and they held our bags for a night while we ventured to an alpine hut. Our teen loved the ping ping table in the garden, and the restaurant on site is lovely too.

Hotel a calm setting even for Zermatt, with very welcoming decorations and exceptionnally kind and precise staff, a true opportunity for relaxation. The free transfer to the train station is a huge plus. There is a train station closer to Gorgegrat which is much closer on foot the hotel via hiking than the main station in Zermatt. The terrace with the amazing Matterhorn view is perfect for sunbathing with a cocktail.

Great location, near the train station & very walkable. Near Denner which was convenient. Got a free upgrade to a bigger room with Matterhorn view, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was clean & spacious, bathroom was updated, & kitchen was functional. Slippers & bath robes are a nice touch, as other hotels we’ve stayed in in Switzerland didn’t provide similar amenities. Good selection for breakfast.

Cannot recommend this place enough! Was referred to me through a friend and so glad we stayed here! Affordable accomodation in a fantastic location and stunning views of the Matterhorn right from our window! The staff were so friendly and the place itself had great vibes. Breakfast being included in the price of booking was amazing and very helpful in Switzerland! Would definitely book again!!

The staff were above and beyond amazing and kind, not only showing me nice restaurants in the area but pointing me to a short hike to view the Matterhorn before I even checked in because they knew the clouds were coming in, and so much more. I cannot recommed this place enough, if you are planning to stay in Zermatt please give Hotel Romantica a chance you will notregret it.

The location of this hotel is great - only steps from both Zermatt train station and the Gornergrat cogwheel train to see the Matterhorn. There was a grocery store close by & several restaurants within a short walk. The staff was excellent - very welcoming. They also helped identify alternate activities as it was raining and the mountains weren’t visible.

Incredible balcony view of Matterhorn. Comfortable, grassy patio area with afternoon sun facing the Matterhorn. Great breakfast with good service (free coffee is a big deal in Switzerland). Efficient elevator. Very helpful receptionist. Community refrigerator in basement. Convenient location for walking from train station - 7 mins on ~same elevation.

Everything was fantastic. The host was very supportive, the apartment is located in a quiet area but not very far from the center of Zermatt, and the quality of furnishings and equipment is excellent. The view directly onto Matterhorn from the windows is stunning. Fully functional, very comfortable, spacious, great value.

The hotel is really new and nice interior . we were being upgraded into a bigger room without addition charge. the location is a little far from the train station but is still within walking distance. The area is quiet and able to have half view of the matterhorn from our balcony.

Staff was amazing, super helpful and informative. Very welcoming and assisted with all our needs. Hotel was great with views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was great and so was the Spa. Loved the bakery downstairs, best cinnamon rolls. Great pick up and drop off from train station.

we booked a room with a view of the Matterhorn and this did not disappoint! Hotel was clean and quiet- yet a few minutes walk from the center of all the activity. The train station shuttle was worth the extra 10 CHF Staff was super helpful and spoke very good English

Very close to Main Street. The view is stunning. Host is very fest on responding to all issues. Apartment is a 165 stairs to reach but it is well worth it. Kitchen is very well equipped to all needs. We were lucky enough to see Matterhorn as well. Can’t wait to return.

The hotel manager was great. She was very helpful for what to do and how to get around. We got a free upgrade for our room and could see the Matterhorn from the room balcony. Breakfast was very full selection including option to cut your own Apennzeller cheese.
