What an amazing view of the Matterhorn! We adored the view from our balcony. The rooms are quite small, but there is a lift to get your luggage to your room with no issues. The breakfast is by far the best spread we have had in Switzerland so far, they included hot and cold options. The hotel is very closely located near the gondola to get you to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. If you want to walk into town is it about 18 minutes, but there is also a free bus. We also loved meeting a fellow Aussie at the front desk!

Hotel is within walking distance to main train station. Free use of spa (warm jacuzzi pool, sauna and steam bath) as well as washer/dryer were the highlights of our stay. We booked two rooms (1) two bedroom apartment with Matterhorn view comes with two toilets with bathtubs which is a big plus (2) Studio North room for our family of 2 Ad + 3 teens. Both hotel rooms come with big balcony with good views and they were clean and come with fully equipped kitchenette.

I cannot recommend Hörnligrat Apartments more. We got upgraded in the penthouse apartment (Solvay), and our host was extraordinarily accommodating, enabling us to check out late on Sunday instead of the initial check out time planned in the morning. The apartment was beautifully decorated, with wonderful views above Zermatt on the Matterhorn, and perfectly clean. The chimney added a really nice touch, and the location is perfect, right next to Sunegga lifts.

Hotel Perren was absolutely beautiful: our every-changing view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, the breakfast spread, the decor, the sound of the river outside as we slept. The staff was super helpful (including helping us decide to paraglide - unforgettable!), and they held our bags for a night while we ventured to an alpine hut. Our teen loved the ping ping table in the garden, and the restaurant on site is lovely too.

Really helpful, pleasant, personable lady at the reception and my God she was strong - she lifted our suitcase as if it were a toy! Very professional and helpful communication by the property before arrival. Beautiful reception area and the cleaning staff are wonderful. Worth the price just for the privilege of glimpsing Matterhorn whilst snoozing in bed. Hotel was very warm, in fact we kept our balcony door slightly ajar.

Hotel is not far from the train station and nearby to many restaurants. Location was perfect with the view of the mountain Matterhorn. Room was also luxurious and high tech. We had hot bath with salt when we arrived. It was very relaxing. They also had a towel warmer in the bathroom. We also spent some time in balcony. it was city facing, but we enjoyed.

No breakfast included. Excellent location. Kitchen facilities were adequate. There was a very nice coffee maker that uses pods, and a rusted kettle. Large spice rack. Excellent oven . Very good shower. Bathroom and room small but adequate. Nice balcony with view of Matterhorn. Balcony had two chairs a small table, a clothes tender and an ashtray.

Apartment 14 was Such a lovely studio flat for our Autumn hiking holiday. The bathroom is nice and modern and the kitchen was perfect for breakfast and the occasional night we chose to eat in the apartment. The view of the Matterhorn was 5 star. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sunset in the Matterhorn.

Exceptional experience, the hotel is just like it has to be when staying in Zermatt. The receptionist is so kind and helpful and the room was great with a view of Matterhorn and terrace. The wellness area is new and very good, and everything that we tried for breakfast was so tasty. We would def stay there again

The hotel is situated in the centre of Zermatt, close to the church & main square. Simon & his mother run a very good operation with great efficiency & charm. We've stayed in many hotels in Zermatt and the Hotel Allalin rooms facing the Matterhorn are among the best. Breakfast noteworthy too

Best hotel we stayed in Switzerland during our recent trip. 5 star hotel with best room with the best view of Matterhorn. Enjoyed all the amenities from sauna, swimming pool, etc All staff are professional & very friendly specially the receptionists. Thanks for making our Zermatt trip memorable!

Hotel was amazing. Cold Plunge, Saunas, Pool and Jucuzzi were amazing. Staff was so kind an helpful. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee. Rooms were super clean and modern. A view of Matterhorn from our room was ridiculous! And super close to the lifts. Amazing. Hard to leave Zermatt.

Staff was amazing, super helpful and informative. Very welcoming and assisted with all our needs. Hotel was great with views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was great and so was the Spa. Loved the bakery downstairs, best cinnamon rolls. Great pick up and drop off from train station.

Very close to Main Street. The view is stunning. Host is very fest on responding to all issues. Apartment is a 165 stairs to reach but it is well worth it. Kitchen is very well equipped to all needs. We were lucky enough to see Matterhorn as well. Can’t wait to return.

The staff were exceptional - very friendly, attentive, polite and eager to help. The views from the hotels were lovely (clear view of the Matterhorn from the spa/dining room). The spa is well maintained and the food was also great. We were sad to go!

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Matterhorn Inn. It’s a very short walk from Täsch station, where trains come regularly to Zermatt. Very clean, very comfortable, and well heated. Would absolutely stay again on our next visit!

Hotel is very clean and our room feels very comfortable topped with amazing Matterhorn view. Good location with the convenience of local shop next door. Overall breakfast is good for a quick start of the day before heading out

Beautiful and comfortable apartment with a great view of the matterhorn. Nice location just a 5-10 min walk to the center of town and the ski lifts. The breakfast each morning in the condo was a great way to start the day.

The location is close to the Matterhorn Terminal Tasch, easy to find train & bus there. The Hotel close to the supermarket and restaurant. The staff is good communication. Alessia one of the receptionist is very helpful

Room and bed are big and comfortable, we can view Matterhorn from our balcony. Hotel’s shuttle service is on time. A Special mention to the server Mariana during our breakfast at the restaurant, she is caring and sweet.
