Mountain Paradise in Zermatt has a sauna and a steam room. Quiet surroundings and views of the Matterhorn Mountain can be enjoyed at the property which is located in the Winkelmatten suburb. The rooms were bigger than usual. Bus stop close to the hotel. There is also a nice restaurant 100 meters away from the hotel. We could also leave our luggage at the hotel as we were to early to book in.

The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The breakfast was very good. What I missed where some fresh vegetables. The view was nice as well, although we were accommodated on the other side of Matterhorn, the view was towards the city.

BEAUSiTE Zermatt sa nachádza na vyvýšenom a tichom mieste v meste Zermatt, 200 metrov od lanovky Sunnegga. First of all, the hotel provides shuttle services to/fro Zermatt train station. That truly helps travellers a lot especially with the luggages we are carrying. Upon reaching the hotel, the staff provided very warm welcome to us. We reached around 11AM. Even though our room was not ready yet, the staff kindly offered to bring our luggages into our room once it is available. That allowed us to explore the town while waiting for our room to be ready. We were stunned by the beauty of the room when the room was ready. We booked a room with Matterhorn view, and were given the top floor at the main building. The room was spectacular, very warmly decorated and equipped with good amenities. The management team also kindly provided us some snacks and personalized welcome card at the mini bar. The mini bar is equipped with all kinds of snacks (chargeable) and truly provide the convenience. What's even more stunning are the view from the windows. Our room has 4 big windows - 3 in the room, 1 in the bathroom. 2 of the windows in the room provide a direct view of the famous Matterhorn, while the other faces the Zermatt-Gronergrat train track. The window in the bathroom faces the Zermatt-Gronergrat train track. Both views allowed us to stay comfy in the room, while not missing out on the beautiful view of Matterhorn and the incredible Gronergrat train which pass by every 30 mins. The hotel is equipped with multiple pools, the most incredible being the heated outdoor pool which provides a view to the Matterhorn. There are 2 indoor jacuzzis and 1 indoor swimming pool, as well as multiple sauna rooms. We used all the pools everyday during our stay there. The outdoor pool was our favourite, soaking in the warm pool, while taking in the view and enjoying the sun. The breakfast spread was the best among all the hotels we staying in throughout Switzerland. Be sure to include it in your stay.

This hotel is clearly one of the best, it’s new & modern with all the facilities you could think off, one of the nicest outdoor heated pools, they have amazing restaurants to choose from, & their breakfast was excellent as well. They’ve also got new electric bikes which are free to use during your stay ! The staff are very polite and helpful, they’ve got their own free porter service waiting for you at the train station upon arrival, and they also drop you back in their electric vehicles back to the train station during departure. I’d highly recommend this to hotel if you’re staying in zermatt.

Pobyt bol vynikajúci. Vstávala som ráno skoro, vždy kávička na terase pri pohľade na Matterhorn 😍. Apartmán je veľmi útulný a pekný. Na prízemí je vedľa pivníc aj spoločná práčovňa, ktorú sme využili na pranie. Práčka a sušička. Musíte tam nahádzať hore do elektrických hodín za 1,20 frankov. Berie to iba 20 rapenovky.

Veľmi milé prijatie od slovenskej recepčnej na recepcii v City hotel. Výborná lokalita na cestu do Zermattu. Je to len pár krokov od železničnej stanice v Täsch. Pekný výhľad na Kleine Matterhorn a Breithorn.
Personál, raňajky, lokalita super. Celkovo hotelíček milý - La petit, architekt sa vyhral. Izbičky malé, ale príjemné. Perfektný bonus bola terasa na streche s výhľadom na Matterhorn - parááádička.

Hotel concierge and lounge is stylish. Room is modern, clean and well maintained. View from balcony is the majestic Matterhorn. Arm chairs provided in the room and balcony as well, so you can admire the gorgeous view either side. Love it very much Service from concierge is perfect. Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from Zermatt station. They provide free shuttle to the hotel from the station so it’s hassle free especially with the luggages . Just need to inform hotel when you are coming from Tasch and their response are fast. Anyway there’s no problem walking from the village to the hotel, there are plenty of shops and restaurant to visit along the way Very grateful that hotel staff deco the room for our wed anniversary. As mentioned in my other review, not all hotel made the effort to set the room for their guest. Very much appreciated
Schoenegg hotel in Zermatt has a unique position offering an unrestricted view of Matterhorn, very comfortable and importantly with a friendly helpful staff - an example of Swiss hospitality. The breakfast is exceptional and the restaurant offers very high quality menu.
The location and the staff! Went above and beyond. Met the owner 3,x as he walked around checking on guests. A great host. The food was delish! Great options and we'll prepared and served. Location is excellent, walking distance from the train station. The room is good sized with excellent window views. Breakfast has typical offering of Swiss hotels. Swimming pool is also good sized with heated water.

Like everyones' review, the VIEW will just "Shock" you. There is almost nobody in the area after the last train. Enjoy the astonishing view only by yourself. Make sure to wake up and check out the morning view before the 1st train arrives. Just AMAZING view... It is a bit pricy to stay this hotel but well worth the $. The rate includes dinner & breakfast.

V here really stands for very very extraordinary. The most creative and unique hotel i've ever been. The room is really stylish yet cozy and very clean. Spa is incredible experience. View is also amazing. You can clearly see Matthehorn.
This hotel is beyond my expectations. I stayed at Gornergrat mountain top 3100 Kulmhotel last time, but I think Riffelalp 2222m is better. The staff are so welcoming. When I checked out, they also provided service of sending luggages to Zermatt railway station directly, which was extraordinary. So I could go mountain climbing and didn’t need to come back again for the luggages. The facilities in the hotel were perfect too - nice pool, gym, PS4, kids playground… etc. And I love the breakfast here. I will definitely come back again!
