Guesthouse SHIGI is located in Nakatsugawa, 46 km from Gero Station, 7.7 km from Toson Memorial Museum, as well as 7.7 km from Magome Wakihonjin Museum. I really enjoyed my stay here, its normal old-style japanese family house so staying here was unique experience different from hotels. Also owner was very friendly and even drove me to the supermarket :-)

In the Magome district of Nakatsugawa, close to Magome Wakihonjin Museum, Guest House Motomiya has a garden and a washing machine. We stayed at the Motomiya after having done the postal trial from Tsumago and we have loved our stay. One step in and you will immediately see the beauty of the place. our room was large and Japanese style, it was our first time sleeping in a tatami but it was very comfortable, the bathroom ( shared with only two other room) were always perfectly clean. the whole house is furnished with taste and you will find fresh flower in all the vases, even in your room! also the food was terrific! Both the dinner and the breakfast were perfectly cooked and tested delicious. Last but not least the gem of this place, your host Mrs Keiko that with her kindness and warm welcoming will make you feel home far away from home. At the end of the day I can affirm that staying in Guest Hose Motomiya makes the difference!

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Nedoko is an accommodation situated in Nakatsugawa, 200 metres from Magome Observatory and 100 metres from Magome Wakihonjin Museum. We loved our stay here before heading up to Tsumago. Cozy room with a writing desk overlooking a beautiful view of the mountains. Bathrooms and showers were very clean, nice breakfast/kitchen area.

Offering a garden and city view, Guesthouse Gifu SUAI is situated in Gifu, 29 km from Nagoya Castle and 30 km from Nagoya Station. The location is a little far away from the main JR station/ meitetsu station but there are so many public transport lines all around the area. The host was also very kind to offer a pick up and drop off service when I arrived and when I left. The hosts were very kind, warm, and welcoming. Their animals were all very cute, especially the dog. The dorm room is only shared with another person and there is a large common area in the room as well as lockers with locks if needed. There is also a living room area and a fully equiped kitchen. The showers and toilets were all spotlessly clean and the water pressure and temperature was perfect. I highly recommend this guesthouse and will stay again if I visit again!

The house, built mostly out of wood, exuded a unique and charming ambiance that I absolutely loved. I had a very comfortable stay, and the host was always willing to answer my questions about local food and tourist attractions, which greatly enhanced my experience. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a cozy and delightful place to stay. I will definitely be back!🥰

Featuring free bikes, garden and views of mountain, Tajimi Guest House is located in Tajimi, 33 km from Oasis 21. A hot spring bath is available for guests. It’s a quiet location, which is nice. First time in years that I have slept without earplugs. Good to know: you can not bathe at the guesthouse. I was a bit scared of using the Onsen at first, but ended up loving it. The hosts are such nice people. They made my stay even better, thank you so much.
