És un allotjament curiós perquè era una antiga escola. És un edifici molt bonic, tot de fusta. Els banys compartits eren netíssims. El millor de tot ha sigut el tracte que hem rebut: la meva filla s’ha posat malalta i per què no haguessim de pagar un taxi fins a l’hospital, a mitja hora de camí, ens hi han portat ells mateixos amb cotxe. Fins i tot ens han ajudat amb el personal sanitari, que no sabia anglès. Moltes gràcies Gae, sempre et recordarem!

Guesthouse SHIGI is located in Nakatsugawa, 46 km from Gero Station, 7.7 km from Toson Memorial Museum, as well as 7.7 km from Magome Wakihonjin Museum. Excellent. Assi, the host, was fantastic. The house is in reality much more beautiful than in the pictures!

A good location for a stress-free stay in Hashima, ゲストハウス岐阜羽島心音 Guest House Gifuhashima COCONE is a guest house surrounded by views of the city. Very clean property with extremely well maintained amenities. There is also a laundromat downstairs and 2 convenience stores nearby making the location ideal in terms of efficiency. The host were also extremely hospitable and kind.

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Nedoko is an accommodation situated in Nakatsugawa, 200 metres from Magome Observatory and 100 metres from Magome Wakihonjin Museum. The location is perfect! Magome is very special and it felt very unique sleeping here and being there at night with no tourists. The design of the hotel is also very nice. Everything worked perfectly and the staff was very kind and helped us with dinner reservations and with local recommendations. The Nakansendo trail to Tsumago was a highlight of our trip and I totally recommend spending a night/s here to do it :)

Offering a garden and city view, Guesthouse Gifu SUAI is situated in Gifu, 29 km from Nagoya Castle and 30 km from Nagoya Station. The husband and wife of the property live next door and were very kind and attentive to our needs. We were running late to see the Ukai show so that helped us with a speedy check in process. We have been on a motorcycle road trip and I can’t say how well we slept at this property. And they have a lovely dog that entertained us too. We will definitely be staying here again on our future road trips. I highly recommend staying here. Rooms are clean, showers are great, and great company. They have motorcycle parking too!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Tajimi Guest House is set in the middle of nature, 3 km from Tajimi Station. So kind and helpful couple who runs this unique architectural place - higly recommended for cultural travellers!

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. The food and service were both amazing! Thank you so much. We had an amazing stay. One of the very few places we will come back to after 33 days in Japan

Just a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station and Takayama Nohi Bus Center, Guesthouse Tomaru offers an renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation. Staff is friendly and good in communication. Best place for international solo travelers to stay.
