Guesthouse SHIGI ligger i Nakatsugawa, 46 km fra Gero Station, 7,7 km fra Toson Memorial Museum og 7,7 km fra Magome Wakihonjin Museum. I loved staying at this guesthouse. The house is gorgeous, has rooms with tatami floors, and the beds are very comfortable. It has a very beautiful view of the mountains from the backyard, and it is conveniently located with restaurants around. The host is very kind and responsive. I definitely recommend staying here. It is also close to the train station.

Guest House Motomiya ligger i Magome-kvarteret i Nakatsugawa, tæt på Magome Wakihonjin-museet. Der er have og vaskemaskine. Supervenlig og gæstfri værtinde. Vi følte os virkelig velkommen, og hun tilbragte meget tid med fx at lære os origami. Fantastisk flot og velsmagende mad. Stilfuldt japansk hjem.

Guesthouse Nedoko ligger i Nakatsugawa, 200 m fra Magome-observatoriet og 100 m fra Magome Wakihonjin-museet, og har bjergudsigt. We loved our stay here before heading up to Tsumago. Cozy room with a writing desk overlooking a beautiful view of the mountains. Bathrooms and showers were very clean, nice breakfast/kitchen area.

Guesthouse Gifu SUAI ligger i Gifu, 29 km fra Nagoya Slot og 30 km fra Nagoya Station, og har udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. The husband and wife of the property live next door and were very kind and attentive to our needs. We were running late to see the Ukai show so that helped us with a speedy check in process. We have been on a motorcycle road trip and I can’t say how well we slept at this property. And they have a lovely dog that entertained us too. We will definitely be staying here again on our future road trips. I highly recommend staying here. Rooms are clean, showers are great, and great company. They have motorcycle parking too!

Tajimi Guest House ligger midt i naturen, 3 km fra Tajimi Station, og tilbyder solterrasse samt udsigt over haven. The property was beautiful and thoughtful. The mid-century furniture and beautiful ceramics on display made the accommodation feel very peaceful and homely. The doors opened up onto a peaceful garden with a creek running through it. Will definitely return next time we are in Japan. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Guest House & Cafe SOY ligger i frodige grønne omgivelser, 15 minutters bustur fra JR Takayama Station. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering på selve ejendommen. We had an exceptional stay at Soy guesthouse! The house is beautiful, and our Japanse style room was large and comfortable. The food was very tasty (we tried both the western and Japanese breakfast), and we enjoyed having the meals while looking at the Japanese garden. Above all Tai-san and his mother are truly exceptional and kind hosts! They helped us a lot with transport, making reservations, etc. They even gifted us flowers and sparkling wine because we got engaged in the guesthouse... Needless to say we will cherish our 3 days at Soy in Takayama for the rest of our lives :)

Auberge Hidanomori blev genåbnet efter renovering i 2022. Det ligger i rolige bakker, 10 minutters kørsel fra JR Takayama Station. This place gave us a whole new experience! The wine pairing and food were spot on. Also, the breakfast was so filling! The location was great and the view from our room was amazing. Everything was just perfect!

Guesthouse Tomaru ligger blot 2 minutters gang fra JR Takayama Station og Takayama Nohi Bus Center og tilbyder renoveret indkvartering i 80 år gammel japansk stil. The location of the hostel is pretty close to the station and very convenient. In the lobby, they offer warm Japanese tea for free. And the public area is also comfortable and can communicate with other travelers if you want. The room and bed are clean and warm, with tatami usage and traditional Japanese style. It is a special experience. The hostel owener is also friendly, and kind to offer detailed tourism information for the traveler. Wonderful accommodation memory! :)

A 6-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station, 力車イン Rickshaw inn offers non-smoking Japanese rooms and Western rooms with free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV and a private bathroom. A free-use kitchen is on site. Super close to Takayama's old town and not too far from the main train station either. Would love to stay here again. I definitely recommend it!

KAYA - Travel Easy, Explore Freely in Hida Tayakama ligger i Takayama i Gifu-regionen, tæt på Fuji Folk Museum og Yoshijima Heritage House. Der tilbydes indkvartering med adgang til sauna. Amazing location between the bus station/train station and the old town, close to lots of restaurant options. Incredibly clean (the shower absolutely sparkled!) and spacious for two people. Sleeping in the loft was quite warm in July, even with the AC on, but that is no fault of the property, just something to note. We really appreciated having a washer/dryer! Detergent was already preloaded in the machine, so we didn’t need our own.
