This place is magical. One of the highlights of our 3 week Japan trip was staying at Ks. Everyone was friendly, the room was spotless, the communal areas were clean and well kept and the onsens fabulous. We had a family room and all slept very well on tatami mats and futons. We used both the private and public onsens. The room is spacious and the outlook over the stream at night is sensational. We were fortunate to be there when they had a fireworks display on the beach which was awesome.There is also a washing machine and dryer for 500yen which really helped having a family of 5. If you are looking for a traditional stay and a truly memorable experience this is it.

The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute bus ride away. The property offers pick-up service from Yugashima Bus Stop. The room was very clean and the beds already prepared for the night. The small table had kettle and tea which came in useful. The sitting room had an amazing view on the room and it was very relaxing. The onsens (spas) were all beautiful and it was amazing to visit them. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese one served over the river. The food tasted delicious and it was a magnificent view. The staff extremely helpful and nice.

The staff are extremely nice, the rooms are amazing and so are the views. Dinner and breakfast felt perfect and it was all for a great price.
