I highly recommend it if you are going to Ito.

Full disclosure - this place is much fancier than the places we typically stay. It's expensive - but it was worth every yen. The facilities are luxurious. The food is an absolute marvel - creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. The private onsen on our balcony overlooking the ocean is the perfect way to relax. And the staff were all so incredibly kind to us and our children (especially Mayu). Our few days here were amongst the very best we had in Japan. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, memorable splurge.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owner treated us so nice! The property is in a quiet village but very close to the train station. Our stay was very comfortable. The owner even allowed us to keep our luggage there after checkout and then gave us a ride to the train station. Would definitely come again!

Situated in Shimoda, 40 km from Koibito Misaki Cape and 43 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Hoshi Meguri offers a terrace and air conditioning. We loved everything about our stay here! The hosts are extremely nice and very helpful with recommendations etc. It was so easy for us to communicate as foreigners too as they're fluent in English as well! They accommodated our late arrival, free parking and us not eating meat and prepared a giant delicious feast for dinner the next day. The building also has 3 private Onsens, which were really comfortable. Honestly, peak Ryokan experience, we're so glad we stayed here, cannot recommend this place enough!

We got the room with garden view. The service of the staff was very welcoming There were welcome snacks ready for us in the room, drinks and tea all ready. We miss booking the dinner, the staff was very helpful in trying to get us reservations But we chose to go to the near by Lawson to grab dinner so we can hang out in the room a little longer Onsen was an beautiful experience Traditional breakfast was great Overall love the experience and time we were there
