Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 36 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

SOKI ATAMI features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Atami, 1.7 km from Atami Sun Beach. This 4-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. Everything. The staff was very helpful and kind. The place was very nice.

Set 10 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Large place with different corridors which makes it feel a little mysterious. The dining room is very nice with a nice garden view. Food was excellent. Onsen was very good. All in all, nothing unique but a very very good ryokan.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owner offered to drive me to a nearby 温泉 and pick me up again for only a small prize, so I did not have to take the train.

Located in Higashiizu in the Shizuoka Region, 1.8 km from Atagawa Hot Spring, Kissho Caren boasts a terrace and spa centre. Guests can enjoy the sunrise and views of Sagami Bay. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Food quality was good and the onsen is perfect.

Situated in Shimoda, 40 km from Koibito Misaki Cape and 43 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Hoshi Meguri offers a terrace and air conditioning. Yurie and her husband were amazing hosts. The room was very spacious and comfortable and access to private onsens - indoor and outdoor. The food was INCREDIBLE… I think some of the best I experienced in Japan - do eat there, you will not be disappointed! There are a lot of great hikes accessible by public transport from the accommodation. It was a wonderful oasis of tranquility in between the business of Kyoto and Tokyo. I can’t recommend enough, I would definitely stay again if ever on the Izu peninsula.

2.7 km from Atagawa You Yu Beach in Higashiizu, Bousui offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and hot tub. Really like the tatami-style room! Enjoyed the great view of ocean and fancy gazebo! Dinner was also amazing!
