We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. Blessed🙏🏻 greets from oranda (the Netherlands)

We stayed half board (breakfast and dinner) for three nights at this hotel. Our room (602) had an amazing view over the little inlet and is big and very comfortable. There is a kettle and fridge in the room and towels are provided each morning. There are laundry facilities in the basement (200yen) and free electric bicycles for guests to use. Meals are buffet and there is plenty of different options especially if you like fish, however, vegetarian options are limited (rice, eggs, tempura, bread) and none of the options changed during our stay. There is free drinks (beer, sake, fizzy drinks) with meals. You can rent paddle boards or its a short walk to a lovely small, sandy beach for swimming. I really liked the location on the little bay and the town is nearby for shops and restaurants. Taxi from the train station was 700yen.

Breakfast was very good and dinner with all you can drink including alcoholic drinks.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.

The location is a short walk-through residential area and provides a good orientation of the town. The ryokan is charming and comfortable - it has the traditional aspects but with elevated modern comfort and aesthetic appeal. I love the practical design of the room as well as the private onsen.
The food was excellent with very impressive presentations. We had half-board and the latest breakfast serving was at 8:30, the latest dinner at 18:30. Not much happening in the evening, although the onsens were great.
It felt like a spa-resort more than a bustling hotel, but we enjoyed it. We had a traditional room with futons and a lovely sea-view. It was simple but comfortable and clean.
We loved everything about our stay here! The hosts are extremely nice and very helpful with recommendations etc. It was so easy for us to communicate as foreigners too as they're fluent in English as well! They accommodated our late arrival, free parking and us not eating meat and prepared a giant delicious feast for dinner the next day. The building also has 3 private Onsens, which were really comfortable. Honestly, peak Ryokan experience, we're so glad we stayed here, cannot recommend this place enough!
Very authentic experience in a traditional but original Ryokan. The futon was very comfortable and the room spacious. The onsen was pleasant and spacious, including an outside bath.
The price was fair and convenient.
Overall we recommend this place.
The location is great. Open baths, the whole Ryokan experience with food and futon.
This was our first Ryokan experience where we actually slept, and could get very used to this.
The food was was very delicious, everything homemade and classik ryokan food with some twists. The breakfast was amazing. The outside onsen was very relaxing, especially in winter season. The owners had a particular friendliness in them, we felt extremely welcome.
Very new facility, the furnish is apparent to be of high quality. It has an onsen bath tub in the room you can enjoy as much as you wished. Comfy tatami mattress and well equipped with amenities. A tranquil place with forest and river views.
This was our first ryokan, and Seiryu-So blew our minds. What a beautiful place. We spent 5 nights, and enjoyed every minte (especially the minutes spent in the onsen!) Thank you for your hospitality, we had an amazing time here.
