The building is beautiful and the people that work there makes us feel really welcome. They were so warm, so helpful and gave us great recommendations too. Absolutely adorable! The location is perfect, it looks like a movie and you can walk everywhere. We also took advantage of the place and its very convenient if you want to go to Kamikochi because there is a bus there.

宿屋白金家 yadoya-shiroganeya 1日1組限定2名から8名様まで 全館貸切り 伝統的建造物の旅籠宿 Traditional culture experience situa-se em Nagano, a 20 km de Templo Zenkoji e a 22 km de Estação Ferroviária de Nagano. We loved everything about our stay at Yadoya Shiroganeya. Maki is an excellent host and her mother is an amazing cook! The local food of Nagano was delicious and hand picked by Maki herself. We had fun making friends with the resident pets Fukumaru and Kenta. We were even lucky enough to see snow during our stay, but we were cozy and warm inside at all times. There are so many lovely touches to this property that made it one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. We hope to visit again!

Residence Yasushi encontra-se em Nozawa Onsen, a 22 km de Ryuoo Ski Park e 33 km de Parque dos Macacos Jigokudani. From the moment I stepped into Residence Yasushi, I was captivated. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully warm decorations, extending from the lobby to the dining area, immediately made me feel at home. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding. The private onsen was a wonderful bonus, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The breakfast was delightful, and I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of allowing guests to use the dining area for takeaway dinners. What truly set this experience apart, however, were the people. A heartfelt thank-you to Keisuke and Aisha for their exceptional hospitality. They made my stay so memorable and special that I found myself wishing I could extend my visit. Residence Yasushi is truly a gem!

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day encontra-se em Nagiso, a 9,1 km de Otsumago, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um restaurante. The property is right in the nature, next to a river/waterfall. Beautiful and serene, the outdoor onsen is overlooking to river and autumn color leaves. The best view one can have. The owner picked us up in the station and sent us back to our hiking starting point the next day. He prepared sumptuous dinner and breakfast for us. We feel like visiting an old friend.

Ryokan Warabino situa-se em Takayama, a 12 km de Jardim Zoológico de Suzaka, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um restaurante. Ryokan Warabino is on an idyllic Japanese valley, overlooking Nagano city. A bit far from everywhere, you definitely need a car to get there! Place is super clean, and rooms are so so nice, comfortable individual mattresses on a tatami floor. Three different onsens to choose from, two of them are outdoors, so relaxing, and you can have them booked privately, never had a problem to get to use them all. On top of that food....oh my...please add it to your booking because you will try to get what traditional japanese food is, so delicious. Dinner was abundant, with 9 courses, make sure your belly is empty before going! Breakfast was as well super traditional, with plenty of different small dishes to try. Staff was all the time smiling, and super accommodating. I would come back thousand times if I could! Thank you so much Ryokan Warabino for such an amazing experience!

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Amazing staff who were really helpful by providing information and transportation when needed. I was in the shared room / dorm which was quite spacious for three people. They provided clear indications regarding the onsen system. Breakfast options were nice. I recommend it.

Com banhos termais ao ar livre, uma piscina interior aquecida e belos jardins japoneses, o Senjukaku apresenta acomodações de estilo japonês tradicional com um charme histórico. O hotel está bem próximo do Snow Monkey Park. Nosso quarto era muito bom. Quando chegamos tinha origamis em nossas camas, todos os dias trocavam as flores e tinha um lindo conjunto de chá. Os jantares eram deliciosos e lindos. O café da manhã, a mesma coisa. Mas o melhor mesmo foi o onsen, esse banho público foi mágico!!

Hotel Fuki no Mori is a 20-minute ride from JR Nagiso Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle. Guests can enjoy walks at the garden or the scenic areas surrounding the hotel. Our stay at Hotel Fuki no Mori was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Everything about the hotel was perfect - Onsen, dinners, breakfast, grounds, and the facilities. We spent three nights there and we did not want to leave!
