Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. This was one of the best accommodations in Japan, super clean, extremely good location, welcoming and traditional as it gets.

This was our most enjoyable stay in Japan, and the competition was high. Location was good, the staff were very helpful and welcoming, the property was immaculate, and the facilities were impressive. The room was incredible and super cozy and we loved retiring there at the end of the day. We also thoroughly enjoyed the onsen which I understand is one of the few in a Nozawaonsen Ryokan filled with naturally heated mineral water. We highly recommend and will be returning, hopefully.

Terletak di Nagiso, 9,1 km dari Otsumago, Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day menawarkan pemandangan gunung. The property is right in the nature, next to a river/waterfall. Beautiful and serene, the outdoor onsen is overlooking to river and autumn color leaves. The best view one can have. The owner picked us up in the station and sent us back to our hiking starting point the next day. He prepared sumptuous dinner and breakfast for us. We feel like visiting an old friend.

Ryokan Warabino berlokasi di Takayama, berjarak 12 km dari Kebuh Binatang Suzaka City dan 24 km dari Kuil Zenkoji. Amazing stay! The people were so kind and the food was great. The room was authentic and very clean and traditional Japanese. Great experience!

We booked this accommodation during our ski trip in December, the ski bus station is situated nearby, the accommodation has a special deposit room for the equipment, and across the street, there is a ski rental shop. Everything is situated nearby. I recommend getting dinner in this place, portions are huge, various foods, and most importantly very tasty.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. Great rooms, excellent food and service. Perfect location just around the corner of Snow Monkey Park. Free coffee at the lobby :-)
