Great place with a mix of traditional and modern facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Traditional Japanese breakfast included. Conveniently located, few minutes walk from the main station and Matsumoto castle.

Private onsen baths are really nice. The location is bit far from train station and buses are not frequent. They provided shuttle transportation to and from train station free of cost. And Delicious Japanese dinner and breakfast.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Senjukaku pakub ajaloolise hõnguga traditsioonilist Jaapani stiilis majutust. Hotellil on vabas õhus asuvad kuumaveeallikabasseinid, soojendusega sisebassein ja kaunis Jaapani aed. Extremely close to the snow monkey park! Best place to stay if you want to be the first on the trail! The style of the hotel seemed very traditional, and the staff went above and beyond to help. The rooms were big and comfortable, and the private onsen we’re great. We ended up doing the dinner, which was a good experience!

The staff were exceptional catering to our every need and the food was unusual and fantastic. It felt like a very authentic experience. The onsen was fabulous

Yudanaka raudteejaamast 7-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel asuvas majutusasutuses Yorozuya on kuumaveeallikate vannid, mullivann ning Jaapani stiilis toad, millel on privaatne terrass ja privaatne... Excellent all round. Lovely rooms, amazing onsens and the staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Food was exceptional too.

This has marked a highlight of our trip, defining what traditionally lived Japanese hospitality feels like. We were deeply touched by the degree to which guests needs are quietly being catered to - repeatedly. We can highly recommend staying at this Ryokan, even if you don’t plan to do any of the numerous activities around. We will surely come back here for when the skiing seasons kicks off. We feel very thankful to have met these remarkable beings running the place.

Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya asub Lumeahvide pargist vaid 10-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel ning pakub lihtsaid Jaapani stiilis tube, kus on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Familiar Hostal, Akira-san y Yumi-san (the family that owns the ryokan) were extremely kind and helpful. They even drive me by car to the train station in a rainy day. Dinner and breakfast was very delicious, specially the dinner so I definitely recommend to give it a try. The onsen is nice and private (you need to appoint in a time slot before) so it doesn’t have any issues with tattoo. During my long journey through Japan I visited a lot of onsen and ryokans, and personally I think this was the best ryokan that I stayed. Totally recommended.
