Service, room, Japanese breakfast and dinner were excellent. My wife mentioned that it was my birthday and I was left a very sweet message in my room. We purposely chose this location to be away from the more busy areas of Kyoto. Logistically, it worked perfect. There is a grocery store across the street. Taxis were easy and convenient and we were also able to walk to the Philosopher’s Path and other areas easily.

The rooms were wonderful and the hotel is very convenient placed near many attractions but not in a crowded street so it's fairly quiet! The stuff is really polite! The tatami room is really really really nice and the lighting and decor is excellent!!

Set within less than 1 km of Heian Shrine and a 14-minute walk of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13436 offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in... Yuki san and Tadashi san are very accommodating, and super nice. Tadashi san even went to a nearby event at the same time as us and was sweet enough to translate for us when we didn't understand directions. The facilities are very nice and very good value for money. The hosts also have very thorough and in my opinion very good advice for local hikes/attractions and restaurants! And the view of the temple from the western style room is phenomenal.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hotel Wing International Premium Kyoto Sanjo is set in Kyoto, 100 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple. The rooms were bigger than most Japanese hotel I have stayed in. I have been to Kyoto over 20 times and this hotel is one of the best i’ve stayed in. I enjoy the traditional bath that was in the room. It was also nice that there were four washing machines. The breakfast in the morning had yplenty to choose from whether you wanted Japanese or western food. Having access to soft drinks and coffee all day at any time was also a nice perk.

Big plus for washing mashine (remember to take your washing liquide or capsules, or you can buy it in reception during business hours). Additinal small fare for kitchen facilities like plates or pann (you can collect them diring business hours), oy cups are available free of charge
