Excellent location right in the center of Gion. Room was lovely and spacious and beds were very comfortable. The receptionists were lovely and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Situated conveniently in the centre of Kyoto, Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi offers buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Hotel Forza was probably my favourite places to stay in Japan! It was larger than most rooms we had! The toilet was separate to the bathroom and the bath was larger than most - great. The lifts in/out of the building were very quick and accessible. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, and you could choose your own products as you pleased from front desk so I had bath salts in my bath every night - we felt at home here. 10/10 for value for money.

The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa by Hulic features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and shared lounge in Kyoto. Modern hotel located at the center of Kyoto. Rooms were not large but very comfortable and smartly designed. The cleaning was on another level, I’m kind of a clean freak and it was immaculately clean from top to bottom. No need to look for any other place if you’re visiting Kyoto.
