The staff was really kind and always available if you had any questions, they gave us good recommendations and good advice for how to get to arashiyama in the fastest way possible (better than google maps). The room was lovely, well equipped and spacious.

Well situated in the centre of Kyoto, Hotel Emion Kyoto offers buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. First of all the location was great. It is located only 3 minutes from a JR station, which is itself 1 station away from the central Kyoto station. There is even a walkway that connects the station to the hotel building. The hotel is new and very well maintained. Our room was of decent size, very clean, the layout excellently designed, and we had everything we need to make our stay comfortable. Large bathroom with a bathtub. Strong hot water. Drains well. There is a public hot bath in the hotel, but I could not use it due to the fact that I have tattoos, so cannot comment. Oh, and the breakfast was great as well with many choices.

The rooms were big enough for 5 people. The location at the train station was very convenient. Only 2 min by walk. Many restaurants near by. 7/11 next door. Breakfast available at the hotel next door on additional charge if wanted.
