Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness center, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. This hotel was exceptional. So calm and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious especially the scrambled eggs. I was also very happy that the kitchen could cater to vegetarians. The staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more. The room was also great, nice bath and comfortable bed. Everything I needed was there. I can't wait to visit again.

Very clean and quiet place,we had a big room,60 square meters ,they prepare for us another bed for our teenage daughter on the tatami floor on the other side of the apartment and she could have some privacy.

Located within a 11-minute walk of Heian Shrine and 0.8 miles of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13438 has rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Kyoto. Tadashi-san and Yuki-san were without question the best hosts we've had in a while. Their care and help were outstanding and the house itself was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt at home for our nine nights, I will definitely be back if I have the chance!

Yuki san and Tadashi san are very accommodating, and super nice. Tadashi san even went to a nearby event at the same time as us and was sweet enough to translate for us when we didn't understand directions. The facilities are very nice and very good value for money. The hosts also have very thorough and in my opinion very good advice for local hikes/attractions and restaurants! And the view of the temple from the western style room is phenomenal.

In a prime location in the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi is located a 3-minute walk from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 0.7 miles from Shoren-in Temple and a 10-minute walk from Gion Shijo... Recently, the management changed at this hotel and the new management has been extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us and make sure we had a pleasant stay. Some of the other reviews on the site are from before the recent change in management. The front desk is staffed every day beginning at eleven, through 8 of the evening, which makes things more convenient in case you need to leave a suitcase while you go out to sightsee. During the hours the desk is not open, there is a WhatsApp number the staff can be reached at, and they were quick to respond even before the hours the desk is staffed. I stayed at this hotel with my mom. It is in good condition and clean, and our room was very spacious. This hotel would be especially good for families or possibly friends traveling together because there are two large beds in the rooms, a kitchen area (with a decent sized refrigerator, microwave, range, and hot water pot), a washer, and a table to have meals at. I also think it would be especially suited for longer stays and people with special dietary needs (vegetarians or families with small children), since making a light breakfast or simple pasta meal here would be very easy. Honestly, this feels like a more like a mini apartment than a hotel room to me. The property is two blocks from a supermarket and within walking distance of Teramachi, with its multitude of restaurants and shops. In addition, it is right in front of a bus that goes to Kyoto Station and a subway line. It is also within walking distance to Gion. I think this is one of the best locations to stay for several days in Kyoto since some other tourist areas here are quite out of the way and don't have as many options for food, shopping, or transportation as this location does. Finally, I felt that the price of the hotel was very reasonable given everything it has to offer. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Kyoto.

We love the spaciousness of the room. The garden is beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. the hotspiring in the room is definitely a bonus.
