Service from the staff exceptional. They let an English speaking staff to attend to us. Breakfast and dinner also very good in terms of quality and service.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness center, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. Service, room, Japanese breakfast and dinner were excellent. My wife mentioned that it was my birthday and I was left a very sweet message in my room. We purposely chose this location to be away from the more busy areas of Kyoto. Logistically, it worked perfect. There is a grocery store across the street. Taxis were easy and convenient and we were also able to walk to the Philosopher’s Path and other areas easily.

Located in Kyoto and within a 5-minute walk of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Rinn Niomon has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. This was the second time I stayed here. It was just as memorable as the first if not better. The rooms were wonderful and the hotel is very convenient placed near many attractions but not in a crowded street so it's fairly quiet! The stuff is really polite! The tatami room is really really really nice and the lighting and decor is excellent!!

The hosts go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. They are extremely kind and helpful and have a lovely home. The hospitality goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend

Yuki san and Tadashi san are very accommodating, and super nice. Tadashi san even went to a nearby event at the same time as us and was sweet enough to translate for us when we didn't understand directions. The facilities are very nice and very good value for money. The hosts also have very thorough and in my opinion very good advice for local hikes/attractions and restaurants! And the view of the temple from the western style room is phenomenal.

Featuring 3-star accommodations, Hotel Wing International Premium Kyoto Sanjo is located in Kyoto, a few steps from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and a 11-minute walk from Shoren-in Temple. The rooms were bigger than most Japanese hotel I have stayed in. I have been to Kyoto over 20 times and this hotel is one of the best i’ve stayed in. I enjoy the traditional bath that was in the room. It was also nice that there were four washing machines. The breakfast in the morning had yplenty to choose from whether you wanted Japanese or western food. Having access to soft drinks and coffee all day at any time was also a nice perk.

In a prime location in the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi is located a 3-minute walk from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 0.7 miles from Shoren-in Temple and a 10-minute walk from Gion Shijo... Very good location, easy check in. Nice kitchennette with possibillity to microwave bentos (ready meals) bought in nearby shops. Big plus for washing mashine (remember to take your washing liquide or capsules, or you can buy it in reception during business hours). Additinal small fare for kitchen facilities like plates or pann (you can collect them diring business hours), oy cups are available free of charge
