The room was lovely - nicer and bigger compared to similar properties where we stayed in Japan. The location was very central, making it convenient to visit tourist attractions and there was also good sound-proofing. The laundry facilities were good too.

The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa by Hulic features a restaurant, fitness center, a bar and shared lounge in Kyoto. Great location, great views, super super comfortable king bed. Very modern, very clean. Great wifi. Really the location was perfect, lots and lots of bars , restaurants, shops around. Walking distance to Gion and literally right next to pontocho alley. The area is really nice to stroll around too, very lively at night. Best sleep we got the entire trip.
