Staying here was hands down the highlight of my trip. Thank you for the fantastic memories! I highly recommend it to solo travelers and backpackers.

The room was also excellent at creating the full japanese living experience! As a bonus, it has it's private little Japanese garden on the backyard which we liked very much!

In the Kita Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kinkaku-ji Temple, Nachiya has a garden and a washing machine. We liked the whole place, the atmosphere, the friendly welcome, the house was lovely done; both for how it was decorated (with good quality modern art in the bedroom!) All machines and appliances worked as we wished!!

Really nice place! The owner met us at the metro station and helped with our luggage. We were also given the opportunity to rent electronic bicycles. It was a great experience to see Kyoto! Great little apartment, great location and we even got picked up from the station on arrival and dropped back when we left which was most appreciated given our heavy back packs. Highly recommend this place!
