The location was fantastic and the vibe was so welcoming and happy, it is a traditional house and the owners are so kind and welcoming and can offer any advice on travelling around the local area. It was so clean too. They do have shared bathrooms and showers outside but the experience of that alone is so exciting and fun I really enjoyed every moment! The bed is traditional but comfortable and the place has everything you need. Very authentic thank you so much I would love to come and stay again if I was in the area again

Cozy house - Vacation STAY 13159 is located in the Kita Ward district of Kyoto, 3.1 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, 3.9 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace and 4.9 km from Nijo Castle. Super comphy with everything you need while traveling, washing machine, kettle for your coffee, and microwave oven. Spacious with a big bed. Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

We liked the whole place, the atmosphere, the friendly welcome, the house was lovely done; both for how it was decorated (with good quality modern art in the bedroom!) All machines and appliances worked as we wished!!

Great little apartment, great location and we even got picked up from the station on arrival and dropped back when we left which was most appreciated given our heavy back packs. Highly recommend this place!

The location was good for us to get about the sights.. The self contained apartment was comfy and had all we needed for a relaxing affordable stay. The apartment was very clean with ample linens and provisions, and in a nice location. The host picked us up at the station and was extremely kind in helping us.Shops are close by for convenience. The walk to the station was 25 mins., or bus ride close by. We stayed on the third floor, no elevator but that was ok for us. We found that the locals were willing and happy to help us with directions.
