Just a 5-minute walk from Daitokuji Temple, Guesthouse Bon offers convenience in air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with no curfew. the host was an absolutely wonderful personality. very friendly, very lively, very helpful. the location was in a quiet neighborhood with some local shops and restaurants. public transport was easy to reach, and the host offered to bring us to the busstop (we didn’t need that) and to the starting point of a hike (we also declined the offer but really appreciated it)

It's stunning and taken care of to the minimum detail. Ken Kun House is not only beautiful but also very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and more and the beds are super comfortable. I would come back again for sure, actually, I wish I could live there! The house is also very easy to reach by public transport, we took the bus every day. There are delicious bakeries in the area and supermarkets!

The room was also excellent at creating the full japanese living experience! As a bonus, it has it's private little Japanese garden on the backyard which we liked very much!

It was very lovely. The best place we had in Japan.

This property is a good find. Very spacious and a good value for money. The appliances are high-end, including the toiletries! Below are the positives about the property, but more than those it was the hospitality of the owner, Mamoru-san, that won as over. He welcomed us with some snacks and drinks in the fridge, and helped us plan our travels for the next few days and with arranging our luggages for transport to the next hotel. + size as it fits at least a family of four + mix of modern and traditional structure + facilities and appliances + heaters at every corner of the villa + Netflix on TV + picturesque gardens + distance from bus station + welcome snacks and drinks in the fridge + owner’s and staff’s hospitality
