An amazing, character house with a large sitting room and shared guest kitchen - it was like staying with family. Rooms were large and cosy. Gem of a find. Great location - a short walk to Pooley Bridge and good base to explore the Lake District. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Free tea, coffee and ironing facilities are provided, and all rooms look across the countryside. I love this place. I booked it last minute as I got a late start to my drive up north and didn’t get as far as I was hoping, but my stay here was a pleasant surprise and I’m so glad I got to stop here. Incredibly clean, comfortable, with clear thought put into providing anything a guest might want. Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.

An award-winning, luxury bed and breakfast, Lindeth Fell Country House is set in an elegant Edwardian house with high ceilings and period features. It offers spacious, individually decorated rooms with Egyptian cotton sheets, an airy en suite bathroom, flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. Many offer lake views. It was a long drive inside from the main highway but once we reached the place , it was a hidden gem with absolutely stunning views. The breakfast was very nice with fresh ingredients, my husband loved the fresh salmon on his toast and I enjoyed the vegan grilled plate . The view from the restaurant was to die for . We had a lovely stay 😊
