The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. Set on high-ground the house overlooks Esthwaite Water and offers free parking. Breakfast was excellent. We loved having afternoon tea and scones in the drawing room, and a refreshing cider served while we read. Books about Beatrix Potter and a sunny window seat to snuggle up and read were very much appreciated.

Netherdene Country House Bed & Breakfast’s rooms all have a flat-screen TV as well as a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Free tea, coffee and ironing facilities are provided, and all rooms look across the countryside. location ideal for our needs.Hosts were excellent.Dean was so helpful.His knowledge of the area was excellent.He helped us daily with tips on what to ,where to go etc.He always had a chat in the breakfast room to all his guests.Breakfast was very good .View from property was beautiful. great value for money also. would definitely stay again
