Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... The suite was very clean and immaculately presented. It had everything that we needed and we greatly enjoyed our stay. We loved the house and the grounds which are clearly very well looked after. Dogs are more than welcome and catered for with treats and blankets. The property was very easy to find and the private parking was useful. Having a discount at The Good Sport pub was a bonus.

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. Well cooked good choices, staff we very attentive without being over the top ,bed was very comfy 👌 very peaceful relaxing place to be will be back there again best kept secret in the lakes ,the evening meal we had was excellent cooked to perfection by Richard

Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. location ideal for our needs.Hosts were excellent.Dean was so helpful.His knowledge of the area was excellent.He helped us daily with tips on what to ,where to go etc.He always had a chat in the breakfast room to all his guests.Breakfast was very good .View from property was beautiful. great value for money also. would definitely stay again
