With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Exceptional customer service. I accidentally booked the shared toilet option but after staying, it was not too bad as the toilet was very clean.

High Grassings lies in the heart of the Lake District with views of the surrounding fells. Location was out of the way down a narrow country road so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was great, full english cooked fresh as well as continental breakfast offereings. The hosts were so nice and accomodating. There is lots of hiking close by, and it's a short drive to Ambleside & Hawkshead where there is shopping, restaurants and more walking/hiking opportunities. The room had everything we neeeded, including a wonderful view as far as you could see. We even liked being woken by the rooster early in the morning! Highly recommend.

Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... Very pleasant stay. Everything was perfect. I absolutely loved Grasmere!!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. good location, close to major road but still peaceful, also close to bus stop. Opposite is an inn well worth a visit.

Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing. Lindeth Fell is a magnificent property on the hills overlooking lake Windermere. The old country style exudes cosiness from the moment of arrival and the discovery of the rooms, the lounge and the library with their enjoyable little details makes the experience even better. What makes Lindeth Fell truly memorable however is the thoroughy professional and friendly staff. Anything you want is but a question away and quite often the staff anticipate the question before you think of it. We particularly enjoyed the company of Ben, all-round good chap, always ready with advice or a quick "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" to add to the experience. In addition to having breakfast, we also stayed for dinner, which was of a quality truly exceeding expectation: perfectly proportioned, perfectly cooked with a nice selection of affordable wines to go with them. All in all, a most excellent experience!

This 150-year-old country house guest accommodation is in quiet gardens, 700 metres from Windermere town centre. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking and a lounge/bar. The reception on arrival and just a stunning beautiful house. This was an amazing place to visit and stay.
