With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Ubytovanie Barton Hall Country House sa nachádza v destinácii Pooley Bridge 5 km od miesta Askham Hall a 30 km od miesta Jazero Derwentwater. Hostia majú k dispozícii terasu. Lovely accommodation and staff. Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

High Grassings lies in the heart of the Lake District with views of the surrounding fells. Location was out of the way down a narrow country road so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was great, full english cooked fresh as well as continental breakfast offereings. The hosts were so nice and accomodating. There is lots of hiking close by, and it's a short drive to Ambleside & Hawkshead where there is shopping, restaurants and more walking/hiking opportunities. The room had everything we neeeded, including a wonderful view as far as you could see. We even liked being woken by the rooster early in the morning! Highly recommend.

Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... Location was central, near town. Nice garden to sit and see the lake and mountains. Near a nice walking trail round Grasmere Lake. Richard, the host was most helpful and friendly. Room was warn and heated.

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. Well cooked good choices, staff we very attentive without being over the top ,bed was very comfy 👌 very peaceful relaxing place to be will be back there again best kept secret in the lakes ,the evening meal we had was excellent cooked to perfection by Richard

Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing. Lindeth Fell is a magnificent property on the hills overlooking lake Windermere. The old country style exudes cosiness from the moment of arrival and the discovery of the rooms, the lounge and the library with their enjoyable little details makes the experience even better. What makes Lindeth Fell truly memorable however is the thoroughy professional and friendly staff. Anything you want is but a question away and quite often the staff anticipate the question before you think of it. We particularly enjoyed the company of Ben, all-round good chap, always ready with advice or a quick "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" to add to the experience. In addition to having breakfast, we also stayed for dinner, which was of a quality truly exceeding expectation: perfectly proportioned, perfectly cooked with a nice selection of affordable wines to go with them. All in all, a most excellent experience!

When you want to get away from it all, you really can at Grange Manor. Beautiful room, absolutely love the bathtub. Breakfast in room was such a nice touch.
