Location was out of the way down a narrow country road so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was great, full english cooked fresh as well as continental breakfast offereings. The hosts were so nice and accomodating. There is lots of hiking close by, and it's a short drive to Ambleside & Hawkshead where there is shopping, restaurants and more walking/hiking opportunities. The room had everything we neeeded, including a wonderful view as far as you could see. We even liked being woken by the rooster early in the morning! Highly recommend.

Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.

When you want to get away from it all, you really can at Grange Manor. Got a great discount/Genius deal via Booking.com Price was very attractive and represented very good value for money. Every aspect of the property was excellent The staff could not have been more helpful and obliging We enjoyed the hot tub ! Breakfast served in our room was a nice touch
