Easy to walk to the main tourist sites, and steps to the food and beer streets, and lots of great restaurants. The hotel is freshly done and modern. Ultra clean. Great breakfast available if you like, as well as a downstairs spa. All super good. The staff made our stay even better. So thoughtful, kind and attentive. Manager Mr. Lee and Henry at the desk were amazing -- making sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay, and helping us with a day trip to HaLong Bay, dinner reservations, and tips on area shops with specialities that we were interested in checking out. But every member of the hotel crew was spot-on when it came to great service. Couldn't have asked for anything more from this great small hotel.

Our stay was comfortable and it was made even better by the help of the staff, especially Ms Sue who booked a tour for us to Ninh Binh and recommended a hotel stay there. It was great service!

The owner or designer has remarkable taste in furnishings, decor, and art works. The location could not be better with so many things to see and do nearby. The young ladies at reception were the best! Lilly, Tracy, and Haley provided much more than hospitality, offering the standard tourist options for guests, but also offering more thoughts and suggestions based on personal experiences. We had some nice conversations with them, and Lily even encouraged us yo try a local specialty rice dish that she had actually purchased for her mother. They were real people treating us as real people.
