Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Superb location, beautiful rooms and the most fabulous staff !!! The meals were fantastic as was the service. Such a peaceful stay.

This hotel is located on Lake Myvatn, 2.1 mi from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. This place has a certain special connection to the spirit of Iceland because it is so close to Dimmu Borgir and to so many places included in the Diamond Circle. We enjoyed the confy bed, the food and...most of all...the cod!

It’s a really cozy stay after a mid-night flight. It has outstanding location, about 15-mins driving from airport. And the lighthouse and beach nearby are all amazing.

Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon offers luxurious accommodations in Hnappavellir. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and hotel bar. Best hotel we stayed in during our Iceland trip.
