Downtown Reykjavik is full of life, joy and culture, so it can be noisy at night. We recommend enjoying the live music at the bar downstairs, which will stop at 11 in the night.

Very cute town with lots of choices but stupidly expensive to eat out. We did a food tour which was a great place to meet other travellers for a chat and eat delicious titbits. Bearing in mind cost of eating out think it is worth the splurge. Don’t come without a traditional swimming costume, cost to hire at Sky Lagoon was £30. Posthaus was a good place to eat because lots of delicious food and about £20 a head which is reasonable by Icelandic standards.

Excellent place with many activities,
Iceland as a whole has the purest air and water I have ever encountered. The people are very friendly and the activities both in the city and in nature are unique.
I totally recommend it!

We scheduled our stay in Reykjavik at the end of our trip...3 nights. It was very nice to decompress after driving around the entire island. Fun nightlife vibe, great street to be on. Good shopping. I do suggest either buying the stereotypical Icelandic sweater from a smaller mom and pop shop outside of the city. The Icelandic Wool Association sweaters are very expensive to the almost 24% tax rate. If not buying locally, you can purchase online for much less. Also booked a 'premium' trip to the Blue Lagoon. Really fun! Bring flip flops (or similar) and either a gopro or a bag to put your phone in. You'll want to take pictures and it's certainly cheaper to bring your own.

The temperature is a lot colder than you think it is and the wind can be brutal. I underdressed completely for the trip I took. Only used Booking for an extra night hotel stay. Also everything else is extremely expensive and you don’t expect it. So be prepared. The pictures are scenes around the country not just Reykjavík.

Very walkable city. Loved the "shopping street" area. Really liked the Icelandic hotdog that was recommended. Hop on Hop off bus was fun. Visited a few key sights. We took a few tours (Golden Circle, Southern route), went horseback riding. Loved their fish and chips.

Very modern city, not so many things to do, but nice to walk around. Harpa music center is beautiful, I would like to go there to a concert. Also, we went to blue lagoon, 30min driving from the city, which was a nice experience.
Excellent location, very central, city center only 5 minutes' walk, harbor no more than 10 minutes' walk. Lots of restaurants around, but the street is quiet. We took a shuttle from the airport and several excursions with Reykjavik Excursions, Fly Bus, and it was very convenient, the drop-off stop is only 5 minutes from the hotel. Hotel is very quit, we sleept well, litery ok, we had everything we need in the small kitchen. The supermarket is also just 5 minutes from the hotel. Everything was very clean.
I recommend this hotel in the center of reykjavik. There is a bus stop 3 in front and the city hall bus stop 1 is 5 minutes walking distance it was perfect for the pick up for my excursions. What i appreciate, when i did my booking, i wrote a resquest they replied me we did our best if it is possible and they did it. It was very nice to be consider not as a simple tourist, they take care.
Reykjavik Natura Hotel is my usual place to stay every time I visit Rvk. Its a well maintained premise with Sauna, Spa, a great lunch buffet is offered. Parking is superb, considering many hotels dont offer FREE Parking in Reykjavik. Despite the fact we didnt get a free breakfast this time, I would always considering staying there again in my next visit to Reykjavik.
Good location - 15min walk to the church and the city centre, free parking, cheaper than local hotels (we had a hotel booking cancelled due to strikes so looked elsewhere). Host was welcoming and helpful and breakfast was good.
Clean, convenient, cute & practical -it’s not big but it’s everything you need. A good & easy option to stay in Reykjavik, especially if it comes cheaper than the other more central hotels.
The breakfast is great!
