The location was close to the airport, with plenty of space for the kids to play outside and a lovely view of the northern lights. The staff was kind and hospitable, and the room was cozy and had plenty of space for the family.

Very nice place overall, tho too many mirrors for my taste. Very shiny so good for winter light , I suppose. Pleasant staff, breakfast was ample and tasty. Bed is super comfy. Nice location for the town.

MY TRIP TO KEFLAVIK WAS JUST A SHORT TRIP FROM THE AIRPORT TO DRIVE THE CIRCLE FOR 10 DAYS. BEFORE FLYING HOME, I TURNED IN MY RENTAL CAR AND SPENT THE NIGHT AT THE HOTEL BERG, WHICH WAS WONDERFUL. I PLAN TO BE BACK NEXT YEAR, AND I WANT TO STAY NEAR KEFLAVIK. I'D LOVE TO SEE THE WHOLE AREA!

If you are going to eat out then make reservation. The only place we could find to eat at on a weekend was chinees restaurant. Found the Viking Center interesting on a rain day. Close to aipport but not so you hear planes.

The surroundings of Keflavík are mainly known for volcanic activity, hot springs and beaches marked by volcanic activity. It's definitely an interesting place, but don't look for greenery there.

The airport is crowded, with confusing signage with so many tourists arriving and departing . Only 2 fastfood outlet in the check
In hall , so you don‘t have many options taking your lunch or dinner. But after safety control you have more choices on dining.
The very good thing with ICELANDAIR is evening check in for your next morning flight is really a great thing you can do , so on the morning you don‘t have to check in , just straight going to safety control with boarding pass which is will save you a lot of time.

I am sure staying at ConVin was expensive, but they had a great bistro there, and we were able to take advantage and have a great meal there. Near Bank guesthouse there are few food options. Taxi a necessity to the airport, or bus (15 min walk)

Everyone I came in contact with at the airport spoke English - a big plus for me as I don't speak Icelandic. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful to me. I had fish and chips from one of the restaurants and it was very good. There is a "Meeting Point" where I was told to go upon arriving at the airport and someone came and got me from there for wheelchair assistance, Very efficient. Unfortunately, there was a gate change for my aircraft and the wheelchair people didn't get the message so I had to push my chair - using it like a walker - and when the gate agent saw me, he was upset that I didn't have someone pushing me. He set me down and pushed me himself.

Very clean and friendly. We have late night arrival, everything was ok, there is an option of self check in after previous acceptance. Super place for independent individuals, extra clean and warm. We have very good room with TV, and nice view from window. Super breakfast with self-service, next doors to hotel - Polish cousin restaurant (we haven’t been there, just saw). Transfer to the airport, as written, everything was super! Highly recommend!
The place is located 10 minutes by car from Keflavik International Airport (approximately 5 km). The room was comfortable and clean. They have a kitchen and offer paid breakfast, which is relatively good. The place offers shuttle service to the airport during the morning (drop-off) and paid long-term parking. For those arriving in Iceland on flights at odd times, the rooms have a pin code, so 24/7 check-in is not a problem.
Good hotel, perfect for the airport with a free shuttle and breakfast starting at 4am! Large rooms with plenty of space to repack your suitcases for the trip home. Quiet and convenient. Useful restaurant.
