This hotel is situated on Lake Myvatn, 3.3 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. Nice looking building. Great breakfast. Staff super polite, especially Sunny. Comfortable beds and pillows. Close to geothermal baths. Pricey Will love to come back

The receptionist who was there upon our arrival, shows us on the map what we can do because the weather conditions wasn’t good for the things that we have planed to do. The food in the restaurant was good and also the breakfast has many options to choose. The bed was comfortable and we have a huge window right across in order to see the sky. Till now it was the best hotel in Iceland!

Located in Borgarnes, 43 km from Thingvellir National Park, Basalt Hotel provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Basalt is a special place in a special country. Owned by people who grew up in the very valley in which it is nestled, the care in everything they do can be felt. The location is a bit remote but so beautiful and well worth the short drive. The architecture of the restaurant is magnificent allowing fantastic views for dinner and breakfast--and the food was some of the best we had in Iceland. The main concierge/clerk/waiter is a treasure. Knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Set in Akureyri, 39 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Great rooms, evrything seems to be new and clean. Is easy to get there and then is self service so easy check in and check out. Great experience. There is a kitchennette in the building where you can boil water and use the microwave if you need, great plus!
