This was one of our best accomodation in Iceland. Good quality food and drinks in our breakfast choice, nespresso machine and coffee, tea in the rooms. Nice stuff, nice room with own bathroom, very good location. We loved it.

Very nice place, our room was really wonderful and very relaxing. It's a short walk to many of the places you must see in Stykkishólmur. They also provided us with a delicious breakfast for a fee we thought was worth the perk. Also, cheers to Monika (not sure it's spelled like this), who helped us during our checkin and was very kind to us.

Not sure who runs it, but it feels like a family ran business. Cosy and welcoming! The whole building smelled like fresh detergent, it was newly furnished and very nicely decorated. The location is perfect and the breakfast was good!

Helgrindur Guesthouse is located in Grundarfjordur. The hotel has city views, a terrace, and free WiFi is available. At the hotel, each room is equipped with a closet and a flat-screen TV. It was great location and amazing space-comfortable, cozy and clean. I loved everything about it and would recommend for sure. It is so comfortable to have little kitchen, sink in the room, dining table, big bed and spacious bathroom

Beautiful facilities, many parts looked new. Spectacular location. The staff was great. They asked if we would like to have them knock on our door if auroras were sighted. They did knock on our door, and we saw some beautiful auroras. All the better because the location is isolated with very dark skies.
