Very large family room - plenty of space. Very comfortable beds. Great location just meters from the harbour. Extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was superb!

The location was great - right in the middle of all Stykkisholmur has to offer. It's definitely worth a visit when exploring the West Coast. Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Arnarstapi Hotel offers accommodation in Snæfellsbær. The Cliffs of Arnarstapi and the village port are just a few minutes' walk away. We stayed in the hotel in the month of March. We loved how we were surrounded by snow and how we felt isolated from the outside world living in our own small cabin. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered us complimentary cake for breakfast when they knew that it was our honeymoon. They also provided us an ocean view room upgrade.

Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive. Beautiful facilities, many parts looked new. Spectacular location. The staff was great. They asked if we would like to have them knock on our door if auroras were sighted. They did knock on our door, and we saw some beautiful auroras. All the better because the location is isolated with very dark skies.
