The apartment was huge and had all the necessary amenities. The area, although touristy during the day, was always very quiet and noise-free. At night, it was very quiet and peaceful and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Everything was very clean, and the staff was super friendly.

We arrived late on the day we checked in and they were super accommodating. I’ve travelled a lot around the world and I’ve never stayed in a place so beautiful. The room was spectacular: it was very large with divisions separating each room, super well maintained, very warm and comfortable as we were staying in the winter, huge private garden, and the private onsen was a highlight. The staff were lovely and kind. The Japanese breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone who comes to Kanazawa!

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. Lovely ryokan. Very gracious owner, making sure that the guests are well taken care. Great location for restaurants, market and sights. Beautiful interior garden.
