Great property - our room was very spacious and comfortable with traditional Japanese elements that made it special. Sasa and Annie our hosts were fantastic and really looked after us - it was raining when we arrived and they picked us up from the station and took us to a wonderful local restaurant where we had a fabulous night. Mikawa is about 20 km out of Kanazawa but train station is close and it was lovely to be out of the busy tourist areas. Thank you Sasa and Annie for a wonderful stay.

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. Staying at Ryokan Yamamuro was pleasant and easy. The room was spacious (most over 10 mats in size), had comfortable bedding, and extremely quiet. The location is accessible all around Kanazawa city and attractions by foot, bicycle or bus. A plus is the wonderful bath in the basement. Thank you, again.

Located just 19 km from Kanazawa Castle, Matsusaki offers accommodation in Nomi with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The food was excellent, the service provided was amazing. Natalie who helped us carry our bags, set up the room and prepare our food gave us the best and most welcoming experienced throughout my whole trip in Japan. The owners were also able to cater to food allergies, slightly later check in time and provided us with extra information for our next part of our trip. Everything about the stay was great with no complains at all, it was really worth the value and I will definitely come back here if I pass by the area during my next trip to Japan.
