Some units feature a terrace and/or a balcony. At the country house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Breakfast are okay but no surprise. The room is comfortable and we forgot to close window so there were a a bunch of bugs flying in our room. Fortunately, there is still the last vacant room that day, and the hotel also quickly changed the room for us.

It seems like an old farm nicely integrated in the nature. Really nice place if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with a nice pool for some relax. Probably also great for hiking. Highly recommended.

The views are fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatty about their properties.

It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. Thank you to the whole family for making our stay a unique and wonderful one. David could not do enough for us. We loved Maria, such a lovely lady. Miguel, the owner, host and chef is a warm, generous man. The girls were also lovely, ensuring our enjoyment, comfort and safety (my husband is disabled and I have some current injuries that affect my mobility). Evenings with a delicious meal and good wines/ports from the estate were unique. There a are so few places that offer the opportunity to sit at a large family table and talk with your fellow travellers from all over the world while enjoying home cooked goodness. The views of the Douro from high on the mountain top were stunning. Thank you everyone for a most wonderful stay. This family understands hospitality in a big way and I highly recommend a visit if in the alto Douro.

Set within 26 km of Douro Museum and 30 km of Natur Waterpark, Socalcos do Douro House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Valença do Douro. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The property has a year-round outdoor pool, fitness room, public bath and garden. Beautiful view of the vineyards below. The swimming pool was a plus as it was such a hot afternoon. Great food in the restaurant.

This farm stay features a heated pool, a garden and free private parking. The farm stay has family rooms. Breakfast was plenty and healthy. The estate is beautifully managed, maintained, the view is incredible.

Some of the units have a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. At the farm stay, some units are soundproof. The view was magical, the rooms were very spacious and clean and the hostess was very nice!

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of garden, Alminhas da Mindua is a recently renovated country house situated in Vitorino dos Piães, 27 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo. Featuring a lift, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The country house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Everything. It is a very big building filled with ammenities and comfort. They have taken a lot of time to think about every detail you might need! Extremely recommended.
