Perfect little oasis, gorgeous surroundings.Sara was very helpful with advice on what to do in the area and just great with our mix up with times in Portugal. Definitely worth the stay...relaxing and just a quick drive to Valenca!!! Can't wait to go back in the near future if possible.BTW the restaurant is well worth a lunch or dinner or both! Great cuisine...very friendly staff... Wonderful experience overall!!

Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. The owners could not have been kinder. The lady had my heart as you can tell she loves her property and her garden. This property was like a hidden oasis. It was perfect in every way with an exceptional shower and lots of hot water! We would love to visit again sometime!

Candelas do Souto is a lovely converted farm house. It has lots of charm from the outside and is modern and clean inside. There are areas inside the property that show parts of the buildings history and old working life. There is a small but beautiful garden at the back of the property that is perfect for relaxing in.

Located in a wine producing estate, on the right bank of Douro River, Quinta De La Rosa is a family owned property, 2 km from Pinhão. Rooms at this working vineyard are spread over several levels. The Location was very convenient for travellers by train. The views are fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatty about their properties.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

Beautiful location and fabulous views! Large property, nice size rooms, very nice washrooms, clean and good amenities. Beautiful pool area. Breakfast was delicious. Our hostess Sofia greeted us with a port wine tasting, she was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Located within 18 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 42 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Quinta Alto da Fraga provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vila Nova de Foz Coa. Lovely place close to the Coa museum, great views, beautiful and chic interior, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast (!), a cozy chill out area and wonderful staff. Had a great time and will definitely come back. Can only recommend this place.

Excelent location, very new and modern house, a lot of good quality stuff in the rooms and the kitchen. Very friendly employee!

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of garden, Alminhas da Mindua is a recently renovated country house situated in Vitorino dos Piães, 27 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo. Fabulous hostess. very kind and caring. Encouraged.me to swim in her warm pool, washing completed and a 3 course dinner....felt much better after all this !! right on the Camino track. Great room and very quiet location.
