Offering an infinity pool and river view, Quinta de São Luiz The Vine House is set in Tabuaço, 19 km from Douro Museum and 30 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. We loved everything but we always first start with people. There were two guys at reception desk, both extremely kind, helping us with all the information we needed. The room was very comfortable, the best beds on our whole trip, it was like sleeping on the cloud:). Explanation about the winery and wine tasting comes as a bonus. Here too, the guy was kind and super professional. Breakfast very good, served with a smile of ladies who were around all the time. The place where thex care about guest. At the end the red hair lady asked us with a big smile if we enjoyed our stay. Yes, we did, very much, thank you!

Situated in the Norte Region in Caminho de Santiago Route, 29 km from Vigo, Quinta do Caminho boasts an on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. It was a nice and calm place.

Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. The family was amazing at the arrival. Amazing place to go and relax with the lovely view and pool area. I 100% recommend this place. Won’t hesitate to come back !

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Candelas do Souto is a lovely converted farm house. It has lots of charm from the outside and is modern and clean inside. There are areas inside the property that show parts of the buildings history and old working life. There is a small but beautiful garden at the back of the property that is perfect for relaxing in.

A Quinta De La Rosa családi tulajdonban lévő szálláshelye egy bortermelő birtokon, a Duero folyó jobb partján, Pinhãótól 2 km-re fekszik. The Location was very convenient for travellers by train. The views are fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatty about their properties.

Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

Set within 26 km of Douro Museum and 30 km of Natur Waterpark, Socalcos do Douro House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Valença do Douro. Beautiful view of the vineyards below. The swimming pool was a plus as it was such a hot afternoon. Great food in the restaurant.

Located within 18 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 42 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Quinta Alto da Fraga provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vila Nova de Foz Coa. We loved our stay at this beautiful B&B with one of the greatest views. The B&B is very tastefully designed and furnished, everything you could wish for is being provided. The hosts are super friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is made with love and very tasteful (joghurt, bread, pancakes, waffles fesh fruit, fresh orange juice, good coffee, etc.). The pool area is especially beatiful and calm.

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Quinta da Ribeirinha - Douro River is a recently renovated farm stay situated in Paços de Gaiolo, 46 km from Douro Museum. Absolutely everything was perfect - from the breathtaking views, the immaculate accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Hubby and I did not want to leave. Thank you Sebastao and Siomara for taking such great care of us.

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of garden, Alminhas da Mindua is a recently renovated country house situated in Vitorino dos Piães, 27 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo. This was a very luxurious place in our opinion. Beautiful premises. Wonderful attentive owner who spent time just chatting about Portugal in general, so we learned a lot. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We arrived tired and hungry, and that was taken care of immediately. The room was great and the bathroom was wonderful. We had dinner (at an extra cost, of course; it was a very tasty at a very good price). There are some nice sitting areas outside. Breakfast was very good. We would try to make sure we stay here again if we are in the area.
