AMAZING !!! we had a lovely night in this ryokan, the staff was so nice with us, the room is beautiful, the dinner was very good and the breakfast in the park was wonderful !!!!

One of our favourite hotels in Japan. The room was spacious, had a spectacular view and a private hot tub on the balcony. The onsen was lovely (you could open the windows for fresh air). The location was fantastic but the star of the show was the food - amazing. The dinner was a multi-course treat with a superb menu in a private dining space. High quality fine dining experience. The staff were also exceptionally helpful.

Enfim... um experiência pra vida!!

A 12 minutos a pé da Estação de Trem de Kintetsu Nara, o Hotel New Wakasa oferece quartos de estilo japonês com pisos em tatame (tecido de palha). Everything! Services such as private bath and breakfast were decently cheap and were so amazing! Highly recommend!

O Tsukihitei está localizado na Floresta de Kasugayama Primeval, Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO. This place is amazing, being this close to everything really helped us get to all the temples on foot.

Localizado em Ikoma, a apenas 8,8 km do Santuário de Iwafune, o Kanko Ryokan Yamato oferece acomodações com vista da cidade, Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privativo de cortesia. The greeting we got on arrival was nothing but friendly. The lady who runs it doesn’t speak English, but understands little bits (we used Google translate for longer sentences). She’s such a lovely lady and very welcoming, showed us around the Ryokan and the facilities. The shower room is amazing with its hot bath! We loved staying in a traditional Japanese room with tatami flooring and the comfy futon beds, and the views from our window of the city was gorgeous! Definitely want to make a return visit and stay for longer :)

A cerca de 29 km de Estação Ferroviária de Nara e a 36 km de Subaru Hall, 多武峰観光ホテル dispõe de quartos com ar condicionado e casa de banho privada em Sakurai. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is truly a traditional ryokan stay. Accommodation - The rooms are spacious, very clean, you get all the amenities you can imagine, it has an onsen and the food is delicious. Staff - The staff is beyond wonderful - we were greeted by name when we arrived and throughout the stay. And the staff actually put the effort to pronounce my name correctly (not the Japanese version of it). Not everyone speaks English but honestly it doesn’t even matter. I would like to say a big “Thank you” to Shimoda-sama who served us dinner for two nights. She is such a lovely lady and so was the rest of the staff working there from the receptionist to the door attendants who would run to the door when we would arrive. I also think we were the only people in the hotel for the first 2 nights. Food - The food was delicious and served in a private, big room. It wasn’t cheap though and we had to order it in advance (same day in the morning) because we didn’t pre-book it. There aren’t a lot of options to eat nearby either, being in a quite remote location. There is a restaurant at the temple across the road but it closes at 3 PM. Location - The location is a bit remote but it’s beautiful, in the woods and across the road from an ancient temple, maybe one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in Japan so far. There is a bus station next to the hotel but the buses don’t come very often - maybe once/hr? The hotel also offered us a free shuttle bus at certain times. I would recommend to take a walk/ hike to Asuka village from the hotel. We made a day trip out of it because it can take a few hrs but it was all worth it. We saw wild wisteria, walked through rice fields, empty hills filled with flowers and saw wild monkeys in the woods.

The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.
