Kotono yado Musashino býður upp á gistirými í Nara og er staðsett í 11 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Nara-stöðinni á Kintetsu Nara-línunni. Location is great, right in Nara park. Staff was helpful and understanding of the language barrier. Let us drop our bags off early before check-in. Great food and service for both supper and breakfast. Nice big room for the two of us. They were nice enough to order our taxi for us the morning we left so we didn't have to worry about hiking back to the train (or bus) station.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. Stunning hotel with very beautiful ryokans. Right next to Nara Park and main attractions. Both breakfast and dinner were great with local products and very tasty food. Staff was very nice and helpful. It was a perfect stay, would love to come back one day. Thank you!

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast is located in Nara, 2.1 km from Nara Station and 21 km from Iwafune Shrine. Overall a great experience and a highlight of our trip - amazing host, excellent dinner and breakfast (make sure to order these when staying here!), very cozy Japanese-style rooms. Good location, too - very peaceful neighborhood, but still close to all the sights. We'll be sure to stay here again next time we're in Nara!

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It was a beautiful room and the private outside bath was amazing.

Kanko Ryokan Yamato er staðsett í Ikoma, aðeins 8,8 km frá Iwafune-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistirými með borgarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Lovely people and great ambiance, mystic & calming. We really liked the onsen as well.

Set 29 km from Nara Station and 36 km from Subaru Hall, 多武峰観光ホテル in Sakurai offers air-conditioned accommodation with views of the mountain and free WiFi. A public bath is available for guests. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is truly a traditional ryokan stay. Accommodation - The rooms are spacious, very clean, you get all the amenities you can imagine, it has an onsen and the food is delicious. Staff - The staff is beyond wonderful - we were greeted by name when we arrived and throughout the stay. And the staff actually put the effort to pronounce my name correctly (not the Japanese version of it). Not everyone speaks English but honestly it doesn’t even matter. I would like to say a big “Thank you” to Shimoda-sama who served us dinner for two nights. She is such a lovely lady and so was the rest of the staff working there from the receptionist to the door attendants who would run to the door when we would arrive. I also think we were the only people in the hotel for the first 2 nights. Food - The food was delicious and served in a private, big room. It wasn’t cheap though and we had to order it in advance (same day in the morning) because we didn’t pre-book it. There aren’t a lot of options to eat nearby either, being in a quite remote location. There is a restaurant at the temple across the road but it closes at 3 PM. Location - The location is a bit remote but it’s beautiful, in the woods and across the road from an ancient temple, maybe one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in Japan so far. There is a bus station next to the hotel but the buses don’t come very often - maybe once/hr? The hotel also offered us a free shuttle bus at certain times. I would recommend to take a walk/ hike to Asuka village from the hotel. We made a day trip out of it because it can take a few hrs but it was all worth it. We saw wild wisteria, walked through rice fields, empty hills filled with flowers and saw wild monkeys in the woods.

The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.
