A haven in a little away from busy central Florence. Historic building with well looked after beauty. Friendly staff with personalised service. There are free car parking and shuttle service to centre of Florence. We went there for lunch a few times previously and that made us wanting to stay here this year.

Surrounded by lush gardens and old trees, Classic Hotel is housed in a 19th-century villa near Porta Romana gate in Florence. The hotel staff were amazing and very accommodating! Sam took exceptional care of our family, as some of us were sick during our trip. We loved the summer room for a special tea time and enjoyed the beautiful garden of the hotel. The location was superb.

On the banks of the Arno River, La Scaletta is a 15th-century building located between Florence's Ponte Vecchio bridge and Palazzo Pitti. I Like The positios, very close to ponte vecchio, Good breakfast. Exceptionel rooms.Nice terace on top. I recomended.

Villa Betania is a small, family-managed hotel in a green park, only a 20 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence. The area has great bus services. Location was perfect, out of the city but 20 min walking distance to the city center. Very scenic location. Christian welcomed us and, took great pride in explaining us the way to explore Florence. That made our trip very good. The hotel room was spacious and felt like we were living in our home. Calm and cozy. The room was clean, and had a small private patio. The breakfast was optimum and good. Unfortunately due to the weather, we were unable to sit outside for breakfast. The hotel staff was really friendly. Overall it's an excellent place to stay in Florence and will definitely recommend this place for family and friends. Indeed a pity that it's just 3 stars. I would at least rate it 4 stars.

Hotel Silla is an elegant 16th-century building, set on the left bank of Arno River, less than half a mile from Ponte Vecchio. The rooftop terrace with bar offers unique views of Florence. We loved the classical style of the Hotel Silla and generations of my family have been coming here for years (since the 60s- my mom came with her parents then!). We were very pleased to see that the Hotel has retained its simple elegance and the staff was very professional and polite. We especially like this hotel because of its history and connection to the city. It is not a faceless mega-chain hotel but a personable hotel. All of the restaurants in the neighborhood are also really good and give one the feeling of being a local. We will definitely come again!
